Highly recommended: organization, attention and nature - I did the tour of the Tijuca Forest and the experience was excellent. The night before they confirmed the pickup time to me by WhatsApp, which was perfectly fulfilled, and also sent me useful recommendations to prepare. Eduardo, the guide, was amazing. He always kept an eye on the whole group during the tour, making sure we were all okay. Besides, I must say that he is an excellent photographer, he took some amazing photos that I will take as a souvenir. The park is beautiful, with landscapes full of greenery and a very fresh air that is appreciated. Eduardo knows the area very well and explained clearly and enthusiastically about the flora and fauna. Definitely an experience I would recommend.

Eduardo is the BEST! Book this tour. - Eduardo was an absolute dream guide. Knowledgeable, passionate, and fun. Our group had a great morning hiking in the forest with him. He taught us so much about the local flora and fauna and had us laughing along the way. This was one of the best parts of our trip in Rio. Highly recommend this tour!

Must do tour with the best guide - Eduardo is an amazing guide. He knows all the great places to see and he takes the most amazing photos for you. He is passionate about this park and the animals that inhabit the land. He literally is the Doc Doolittle of Tijuca. He has the monkey call down. If you get him as your guide he will make sure that you have the best time. We laughed the whole time. Thank you Eduardo for letting us into your office. The most amazing experience ❤️

A taste of forest away from the chaos - Nice visit, different day to break from the chaos of Rio and the beach, the very experienced guide, you see monkeys and other animals, the falls nothing special, but you can swim

Great but - My husband, mom and I got picked up exactly on time by our tour guide. There was another person with us on this tour. We took off to the forest, our first stop was on the initial waterfall 5-10 mins, our second stop was a 10 minute loop walk. We saw a few monkeys eating, this was the best part of this tour. Our third stop was the hardest hike, it was like a 10 minute up hill hike to a beautiful cave and back down. The 5th stop was on a small waterfall to bathe in. Our last stop was at the Chinese view point. Each stop was in car. Our tour guide was chilled and very nice. I’m giving this a 3 star rating because it is not worth $77.00 usd per person. I wish there would have been more of an extended hike. With the instructions they sent to prepare for the “hike” I thought we were going to hike at least for 3 hours. It was more like 30 mins. I wish more info/facts were given to us about the forest. Or maybe if this was cheaper I would have given it a 5 star.
