The Golden Triangle Tour - We had two days to enjoy the Golden Triangle Tour through Crystal India Holidays Tours. Sanjay was our driver and was fantastic ! He quietly and patiently drove us on our 2-day journey with the skill of an expert navigating the good and the rainy weather. He adeptly navigated crazy traffic in and outside of each city and region we drove through. Sanjay was with us for 10 hours on day one and twelve hours on day two! Each day as we arrived in and spent time in Agra and Jaipur, we were accompanied by different tour guides who shared with us the history of their beautiful cities! It was a 3.5 hour drive from Delhi to Agra, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car! But it was air conditioned, so that was nice! The first day we had Manoj who showed us around Agra with the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort! The Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world, but pictures just don't do it justice! It was magnificent, and Manoj was very knowledgeable about the history, as well as in how to professionally photograph each and every corner of this amazing landmark. The weather for this morning's trip to the Taj Mahal was perfect because it had rained prior to our arrival there, so it was lovely up until the time we left when it was starting to get hot. After finishing our visit to the Taj Mahal we headed to the Agra Fort. The weather here was beginning to get hot, but Manoj had arranged for golf cart transportation from the entrance gate to the Fort, which in normal weather would be a lovely walk. In the heat, it's just more time spent sweating! There are about 30,000 monkeys in and around the Agra Fort and they can be quite aggressive especially if you have food or juice, so don't carry anything that the monkeys will want to steal because they will! The Fort was very nice, and there were many brides and grooms trying to have their engagement or pre-wedding photographs taken there! They are all so beautifully dressed and the scenery here in Agra is beautiful!! As part of the tour they take you to local artisans who make incredible products that you can view or buy. In Agra they took us to a place where they make the inlay pieces with the same craftsmanship style from that of their ancestors who made the incredible inlay art at the Taj Mahal! Very talented, but with that talent comes expense. The government offers free postage to encourage visitors to buy from these local artisans, which can be helpful. We then said goodbye to Manoj and drove 4.5 hours to Jaipur. It makes for a long day, but that's what this tour is about as these historical places are far away from one another. After arriving in Jaipur, with Sanjay driving through some terrible rain, flooding and traffic we arrived at a hotel that we selected. You have the option of letting Crystal India Holidays arrange your stay or you can arrange your own stay! Either was Sanjay dropped us off and arranged the time in the morning to begin the final day of our journey. We arranged for 7:30am, which was great because it's less hot in the morning. On Day two, Sanjay arrived right on time and we didn't have to drive too far to pick up our guide Raghu for the Jaipur portion of our trip. First we visited Amer Fort which was an amazing Fort built in the 1600's and has an 18 kilometer wall built around the city reminiscent of the Great Wall of China. There are goats around theproperty because in the mountains surrounding the Fort there can sometimes be leopards! We didn't see any leopards on our trip but Raghu showed us pictures of ones he has seen before and Sanjay said that he had even seen a snow leopard there before, which is incredible! We also visited Jal Mahal, which is a water palace, the City Palace which is where the current Prince or Maharaja lives with his family. Everything we saw within Jaipur, the Pink City was amazing, including the Jantar Mantar which is a famous architectural astronomical site built over 300 years ago. It was fascinating! Today's artisan visits were to a jeweler, and to a textile shop where the artist create patterned fabric based on stamps they create from repetitive stamping of multi-layered designs in colors made from plants and vegetables! They are so talented. We love to support the local economy whenever and wherever we travel, but it was time to drive the 5 hours back to Delhi because i spent too much!! I really appreciated the patience of our guide and Sanjay because I'm not a fast shopper. We had a lovely time on our trip and it is because of the kindness and patience of Sanjay and our guides for sharing their stories with us. Thank you for an incredible experience.

Fantastic two day trip and excellent guides and driver - It was a wonderful tour to two very interesting cities. But what really did it were the two excellent guides and perhaps the even more excellent driver. Sanjay (Agra) and Naveen (Jaipur) and Anil Kapur (driver) made this trip inspiring and memorable. The guides were knowledgable, experienced and listened to what I wanted and adjusted. They also made me feel safe in every situation which was valuable for a solo traveller like me. The driver Anil Kapur really went out of his way to provide excellent service. He made the long drives between the cities feel easy through interesting conversation about life in India. He helped me, way out of his responsibility, when we in the evening were searching for the drop off location in Delhi. I dont think I could have had a better experience for the two days I had at my disposal. Definitely worth every rupie.

Well organized, safe, comfortable, educational and fantastic! - Do not hesitate to book with this company. It was smooth sailing all the way. The driving was excellent - we felt safe despite very foggy/smoggy conditions in Delhi on day 1. Basically you have a drive who gets you safely and comfortably from place to place. The vehicle had ample space and was comfortable. The driver waits so that you get picked up and no need to park or wait. In each city, there is a tour guide with you for the day. We were impressed with both their professionalism and knowledge. It is a smooth operation with opportunities for meals. I was a little hesitant about the visits to the factories, but we ended up buying lots of bidding, and getting shirts and blazers custom-made and sent to our hotel within four hours. I did not feel like I was forced to buy anything more that I wanted to. I personally was not interested in the jewelry, but I was fascinated by the marble products which are associated with the Taj Mahal. This tour was excellent at taking us to the major sites with very little inconvenience to us. I felt like I was exposed to a very interesting part of India, which had great energy, and then I enjoyed being delivered safely to the hotels every evening, where we could relax. I researched this tour and I am very happy to say that it lived up to both the reviews and my expectations.

Delhi Agra Jaipur in Two Days - Was in Delhi for conference with limited time to travel around. After viewing the countless tours for 3 days golden triangle tour, I thought it would be impossible to visit Jaipur in addition to Agra. But with this tour, I was able to visit so many astonishing places in both Agra, Jaipur and made it for my flight in Delhi on the second day. It was a great experience. Although a lot of the time were spend on the road, but I felt the car-ride itself is also a great experience. I am really grateful to my drive Mr Lucky, and guides Mr Arif and Navine. They have made me feel comfortable and confident as a solo female traveler, and have showed so much of India given the limited time I had.

Great quick tour of Agra and Jaipur - The trip was well organised and I received detailed instructions the day before, such as the driver’s name, mobile no and car license no which made the pick up super easy. The driver Kamal was skilled and I felt very safe despite some interesting traffic on the motorway and in the cities. His car was very clean and comfortable. The guides in both Agra (Arun) and Jaipur (Gaurav) were very knowledgeable and fun. They both took lots of photos of me at each location which was great as I was travelling solo. I thought the tour was great value as the accommodation in Jaipur was the Intercontinental Hotel and included a buffet breakfast. A tip: make sure you leave Delhi in time to get to the Taj Mahal just before the gate opens (30 mins before sunrise). The queue was short and we were inside in time to be in place to take great sunrise photos. The 3 am start was worth it!
