Fantastic trip - Fantastic trip and a guide who really knew a lot about the history of the island. But the food you could buy on the trip was beyond all criticism. I would recommend bringing your own food.

Historical tour of Gran Canaria - It is a nice trip to get to know the island a little. However, 70% of the time you are on the bus and you only have a few minutes at the various points of interest. The description of the trip does not mention that it also goes into the mountains. This is very winding and should be taken into account. There you can look at the cave houses, some of which are still inhabited. The lunch break is a stressful affair. The menu for €13 is perfectly fine and tasted good. The tour guide spoke very good German and was extremely friendly. The bus driver led us gently through the area. It is a trip that is worth it.

A good way to see parts of the island. - Each place visited was very nice but all linked to ‘gift shops’ and encouragement of spending. The journey was informative but not enough time in each place to explore. Lunch was pleasant but the venue was very full. The cost of lunch was very reasonable. Guide was nice and gave a lot of information. The whole excursion was nearer 9 hours than the advertised 7 hours.

Ruined by aloe "farm" - Most of the fond memories were ruined by the last stop at aloe "farm" dusgusting to drop tourists off at a store and disguise it as part of sightseeing, only to have quacks lie to you about the panacea of the aloe plant and peddle their insanely overpriced products. Utterly exploitative. I can only imagine the store pays the tour company for this tourist trap. Apart from that the trip was great. Great views, amazing guide, such a memorable experience. Without the aloe "farm" it would have been 5 stars.

Disappointing - The tour guide was really nice but the tour was terrible, being on the bus and seeing the landscape plus the highest point on the island were the highlights. For lunch you are brought to place and given a very limited options menu but the restaurant do have a full menu so if you can order from that as the set one is bad and really small. In the description it also says there is an hour for lunch and explore but we were given about 20 mins. The aloe Vera farm is only a sales pitch and shop, the whole tour felt like being driven around from shop to shop to get you to buy stuff. I'd recommend going for a different tour
