  • Chand Baori (Step well) - Chand Baori Abhaneri stepwell Abhaneri is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan state in India. It is situated at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra road. Abhaneri was originally named Abha Nagri, which means “city of brightness,” but due to mispronunciation, the name was changed. The city is now in ruins, but it attracts tourists from across the globe. It is located opposite Harshat Mata Temple and was constructed in AD 800. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground making it one of the deepest and largest step-wells in India. Chand Baori has been used as a filming location for a number of films such as Bhoomi, The Fall, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, The Dark Knight Rises and Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

Bhangarh is renowned for its historical remains and is famously known as the spookiest site. Located 85 kms away from Jaipur, this destination brings a dose of adventure and stimulation to the trip. On this customized tour, you will discover the history of Bhangarh and the two renowned settings, the Chand Baoli stepwell, and the Harshat Mata temple in Abhaneri, which is 15 kms away from Bhangarh. Entry to the Bhangarh fort is prohibited after dusk and before dawn. The entrance to the Bhangarh fort houses the shrines of Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, and Dev Narayan. Another noteworthy stop on the tour is Abhaneri, famous for two historical sites: the Harshat Mata temple and the Chand Baoli stepwell. The latter is notable for being among the deepest and largest step wells in India. These reservoir gardens, built a millennia ago, have a unique geometric design.
