The Thrill of the Zipline

As someone who has spent years chasing adrenaline, the idea of ziplining alongside a giant waterfall in Abejorral was too tempting to resist. The final adventure of the day was the dream hammocks, suspended 150 meters above the ground. As someone who has jumped off cliffs and scaled mountains, I didn’t expect to find this part of the tour so intimidating. But as I lay back in the hammock, the reality of hanging so high above the earth hit me. It was a moment of vulnerability, a test of trust in the equipment and the experience.

Once I settled in, the fear gave way to a sense of peace. The view from the hammock was unparalleled, offering a panoramic vista of the surrounding mountains and the waterfall in the distance.
