See the best of Georgia! - What a way to see Georgia!! We had a wonderful guide, Kakha, who was very knowledgeable about Georgian history, culture, food and wine. In full transparency there is a lot of time spent in the car and we occasionally felt rushed. However, we got to see and do so much which made this worth it. Our favorite places were Becho staying in a small guesthouse very remote and Ushguli for it's unique landscape. We would strongly recommend this tour for people interested in seeing Georgia that enjoy road trips.

Price of the 8 days jeep tour - I review this option and find it very good and up to what I am expecting, but we are 4 sisters and will be sharing room or book suite for the 4 of us to share, therefore, I am expecting to be giving a better deal compare with what is being advertise, they make it for one and add on. I did not travell yet, but planning to be on Jun 2018, i chose march, because I could not put my comment without choosing date.

This is a great trip for those... -
This is a great trip for those adventurous sorts. Visited many sites where we were the only ones there. Our guide, Irakli, knew where to go and the best timing to avoid crowds, etc. He was also a walking/talking history book! we were a very small group of 3 traveling together and this wound up being a 'private' tour that we were able to make slight deviations from the itinerary. Georgia is a beautiful country rich in history and beautiful people.

WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS TOUR OPERATOR - The driver, who was in no way qualified as a guide, barely knew the names of the sites in English and could not carry on a conversation or provide any details at all. The first day of our tour was on our own without a guide provided. The hotel kept asking us to pay since the agency had not, although they had claimed to have incurred expenses in paying for all hotels. So my son contacted the tour operator who yelled at my son and said that we should pay more since the operator doesn’t run these trips for fewer than 3 people. Obviously, my son refused, since they had taken our booking and our money. The next day, our driver showed up an hour late and took us to see some sites, but not all, that were on the itinerary for that day. He spent the whole day screaming into his phone and at us, saying “No gas, no money, 3 days” repeatedly. On the morning of the 3rd day, our driver showed up 1-1/2 hours late and demanded we pay more or he wouldn’t continue the tour. My son called the tour operator who yelled at my son and threatened to “Come over and shove your American passport up your ***.” Needless to say, we refused the extortion attempt and toured Georgia on our own. We have had a nightmare of a time trying to get a refund. DO NOT USE THIS OPERATOR!!!!!
