More than we could possibly imagine - Arm was really nice He explained everything, and let us smell, taste, and adjust everything. He adjusted all dishes to be vegan and to our taste in spice and preferences, gave us all and more. You eat everything you make and everything was simple to understand and grasp. The food is highly authentic and it makes you very full - so come with an empty stomach.

Learn to Cook! - Outstanding experience. We had an amazing experience at the market buying food. Then we made 8 different dishes. Arm took the time to explain how to make each one, and we hope to make it again at home for our family. You get to try everything so maybe skip breakfast! Really the best.

Best cooking class in Chiang Mai!! - This was one of the best experiences we had in Chiang Mai! Arm is a very knowledgeable guide and very welcoming. The small groups ensure personalized attention and he was able to answer all of our questions and satisfy some curiosities (like tasting durian!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND this experience if it fits in your itinerary. Very unique experience and being welcomed to his home and garden. 10/10

Great cooking experience with Thai chef Mr. Arm - We had an interesting and very delicious morning at our cooking class with Mr. Arm. It is worth highlighting the fact that we are responding to our special requests. Dishes with cow's milk instead of coconut milk and chicken instead of pork. Even visiting the colorful city market together and answering our many questions was an experience! In addition, he bought me unknown fruits and vegetables and let us try it at his place. Mr. Arm is a patient teacher and our cooking together, with no more than 4 pers. was worth every euro. Wü

Excellent Cookery Class - I cannot recommend this highly enough. We did the Northern Thai half day course. We were picked up from our hotel by Arm and taken to a local market where we bought everything for the class. Arm told us a lot about all of the items we bought. We then drove to Arm's house and after a chat aboit the herbs growimg in his garden we started preparing the dishes. Between the two of us we prepared 6 dishes. Arm showed us how to prepare each one and then left us to get on with it ! There were only four of us on the course (the maximum per class) and we all sat round and ate our dishes together plus a plate of delicious local fruit and sampled local Thai wine. This is an excellent and authentic experience and Arm was an excellent and fun teacher. If you are looking for an authentic cooking experience this is the one to choose.

A great experience! - Chef Arm provides a wonderful insight into the experience of shopping for and creating a days meal. I enjoyed gathering around the table after creating each dish, where we discussed the ingredients and all things local. I'm inspired to make the dishes at home

Chiang Mai travel to the best experience - Thank you, Dr. Aam, for this valuable experience of Thai cooking class. This tour is perfect for those who want to experience the local atmosphere and reality. He studied Japanese at a school in Chiang Mai, and the fact that he can communicate with Japanese people without any problems was very good. Also, as a Special Offer to join the tour, we received a recipe book for Thai food made by Dr. Aam, and it was very exciting! I would love to see you again when I revisit Chiang Mai. Thank you very much.

A Great Introduction To Thai Cooking! - It was our very first cooking class! My husband and I have always wanted to do this. We were picked up promptly by Chef Arm himself from our hotel and drove to pick up another couple who will be joining us. We stopped by a local market to buy all the ingredients needed for our cooking class. It was a very sensory experience as Chef Arm showed us what to look for when buying fruits and vegetables which was a lot of fun. We then drove back to his home where the cooking class would be. He showed us his wonderful herb garden where he gave us samples to smell which would be used in our class. This small cooking class no more than 4 really appealed to us as we got that personalized attention which you would not normally get if you were in a class of at least 10 or more. We each had our own cooking station and a preparation area for 2 to chop, cut, slice and used a pestle to grind, mash and crush. We made Larb Herb Pork Salad, Green Curry Chicken, Coconut Milk Soup Chicken (we squeezed a bag that had shredded coconut which came out in liquid form). Loved how it’s made from scratch! On the menu was also Tom Yam Soup Shrimp, Pad Thai, Khao Soi Curry with Egg Noodle and Mango with sticky rice. Chef Arm was with us every step of the way. We were given a choice on how spicy we wanted our dishes to be so Chef Arm would ask how many chilies we wanted to add to our liking. He would cut the chilies accordingly to our taste. We brought our creations to the dining table where we had the opportunity to get to know Chef Arm on a more personable level. We also got to know the other couple too. Our lunch was amazing and delicious. We all received Chef Arm’s wonderful recipe book with all the dishes we created. I now know how to cook a few basic Thai dishes and walked out with a sense of accomplishment!
