• Museum Rietberg - Once owned by Otto Wesendonck, a wealthy self-trader, the Rietberg Museum with its three villas and park is steeped in history. Richard Wagner, the renowned composer, lived in the town of Schönberg for several months, where he completed the original version of “Tristan und Isolde,” inspired by his love for Mathilde Wesendonck.
