73 towering alpine peaks and an abundance of lakes contribute to the stunning and unforgettable landscape viewed from Mt. Pilatus, situated near Luzern. The off-peak tour (from October to May) starts from Basel, takes you to Luzern, and then a brief 10-minute journey outside the city to Kriens. From here, you hop onto a panoramic cable car for a visually fascinating trip to Mt. Pilatus.
A variety of sights and two eateries can be found on Mt. Pilatus. Moreover, a spacious viewing terrace is available for you to soak in the sights.
Upon your descent from Mt. Pilatus, take time to explore Luzern briefly before returning to Zürich.
Please note that this tour is only available from October to May, as it takes the place of the renowned ‘golden round trip’ when the cogwheel train to Mt. Pilatus is not in operation.
