Full day tour inc stops in... -
Full day tour inc stops in Interlaken and Grindelwald. The ski lesson itself is very thorough and informative - I feel like it’s very worthwhile. You don’t really get time for lunch though so I would recommend packing lunch and take water up the mountain with you as you get hot and thirsty.

A wonderful experience - We did a one day trip including the Swiss ski experience for beginners in Grindelwald. Although pricey , it included 2 and half hours ski lesson and the Loan of all equipment. The experience is fill on and about 12 hrs with the travelling etc. There was a great stop on the way with a photo opportunity near the valley and lakes before Interlaken. A suggestion , maybe a 10 minute stop here would be great and a bathroom stop in Interlaken advising passengers that not much time in Interlaken. Just because this photo stop is out of this world. Other than that the ski experience and instructors etc were great.

Room for improvement - I have updated my review taking into consideration the tour operator's effort to reach out to me and do a thorough investigation. 1)Many different tours packed onto one bus. To manage expectation, you could indicate that tour A, B and C will be taking the same transport/bus. We started our journey at 8am and got to the ski shop at 12.15pm. By the time we reached the ski slope, it was already 1.20 pm (checked my photos, at 1.16 pm, we were still on the mini van which took us to the ski slope). 2) Instructor reprimanded us for being late when we arrived at the ski shop! Better coordination between the ski school and the operator. In this case, we were not at fault since we were not in control of the time or the bus. The tour guide could have called the ski school if the tour bus could not reach before the lesson start time. 3) Ski shop's record showed 2pax instead of 4pax. Staff didn't know what our package comprised of. The operator explained that the mis-com was because the staff was new. 4)Told to wait as we missed the bus.Didn't even know what bus and how long to wait. Treated like idiots standing outside the ski shop. 5)When we arrived at the ski area, our instructor was with another group. An inexperienced young instructor took our group but didn't give clear instructions. After an hour, she asked us if we had to catch the 3pm bus. So we had 1hr 15mins lesson instead of the 2hr 30mins as promised and went to catch the 3 pm bus. We only had 1 hr 15 mins of activity. 6) We got on our tour bus at 4.15 pm. Brought to a car park where we sat in the dark till people from the other tour groups came back at 5.30pm. The operator had apologised for the experience and had talked to all the parties involved. As the operator had informed that they have taken steps to improve on the tour experience, I have adjusted the rating to 3 stars.
