Highly recommended! - Our trip to Guatavita Lake and the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral was amazing! These places are full of history and beautiful nature, and we learned a lot while taking lots of photos. Our guides, Saray and Boris, were awesome. Saray was super friendly and knew a lot about the places we visited. She was always ready to take great photos for us, which was really nice. Boris was cool because he knew a lot of people around, and they all seemed to know him too. He was funny and made the trip fun! We also had a great lunch at a local place, which was part of the tour. The food was really good and felt authentic. The best part was that Saray and Boris spent 12 hours with us, which was impressive. They made sure we had a great time and saw everything we could. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was a day well spent, learning and having fun, with two great guides who made it special. PS: communication with a company during schedule and pick up was terrible (Zzero answers, no details), but we were able to find the car in a different location and driver and guide were perfect.

Fantastic tour company—did a great job with a last-minute request! - Bogotravel Tours saved our vacation! We missed our connecting flight to Peru due to airline delays, and we were subsequently “stranded” in Bogota for 24 hours. We contacted Fernando from Bogotravel at the very last minute, and he was able to arrange a private tour of the Zipiquira Salt Cathedral for us. The cathedral was INCREDIBLE—what a unique work of architecture! At our request, we were also able to stop at the Museo del Oro in Bogota, which was not on the original itinerary but was something we really wanted to do. Thank you to Fernando for the seamless organization, and to Sarai for being an excellent guide! You turned an unfortunate missed connection into a highlight of our trip!

A day outside Bogotá - Private tour to the cathedral and lagoon, very good! And we went to the weird house too. Higher investment but it was worth it. I just wouldn't recommend the included lunch

A perfect day - We spent a wonderful day at the Guatavita lagoon and the Salt Cathedral. Jorge explained to us the attractions and many things about his country in German. With Boris, the driver we feel good and safe all day.

Fantastic place - This was a great place to visit, very impressing so beautiful. Our tour guide gave us an hour to meet up again, but after these 14 stops in the Cathedral we only had 45 minutes left, and 20 minutes we lost at the photo shops, so we stayed with 20 minutes left, we needed more time to walk around.

Arrived late, small car - The driver/guide was very good, but came 30 minutes late. The main issue was for a 2-hour ride each way, the car was small for 4+ driver. One of us had to sit it the middle in the back seat of this small car all the way. Very uncomfortable. Not what we expected given what we paid, disappointing. The Salt Cathedral was amazing, lunch was good! Traffic was bad.

Amateur league - Tour guide no showed and blamed Viator for the failure. Viator did refund my money quickly but we wasted an hour for a guide that was never coming and didn’t get to see the attraction we wanted to see. Will never use Viator again and doubt this review will be approved but I said what I wanted
