A great cooking class - Great instruction. Great time. Lots of variety of dishes. Well organized. Very nice people. Highly recommended.

Best cooking class in Zihuatenajo - We were picked up at hotel, then went to market with Carlos for ingredients. We had class with his delightful and knowledgeable wife. The day included hands-on prep for several traditional dishes that we enjoyed eating together. It was a wonderful experience!

Great class if you want to learn to prepare Mexican standards - What a great experience! We learned how to prepare more than 5 recipes. Elsa has a ton of knowledge, which she was quite happy to share. Definitely recommend this tour.

Fun and delicious cooking experience! - Great experience learning to cook Mexican food with Elsa. She is very passionate about her cooking and very pleasant and welcoming hostess. Carlos picked us up promptly and took us to the market to pick up a few ingredients. They took pictures for us and emailed them along with the recipes of the foods we cooked. Everything was delicious!

Awesome experience! - Carlos and Elsa were so personalble and welcoming. Elsa's love of cooking is evident. We left fed and happy! The best food experience we've ever had. From pickup to drop off the day was just perfect.

Great Experience! - Had a fantastic time with a great couple, Carlos and Elsa. Prompt pickup at our hotel and off to the market to learn about the varied local produce and to get some ingredients for our cooking class. Elsa is just lovely and very talented in explaining and cooking the local dishes. We had lots of fun preparing and eating (delicious) the 5 or so dishes we made! Elsa spent a lot of time ahead of our class preparing and organizing the food - you can see the labour of love. Great day and we feel like we have a new family in Zihuatanejo!! Excellent day cooking and touring with Elysa and Carlos - What a lovely day we had with Carlos and Elsya (husband and wife team of Carelsytours company). During our shopping at the Central Market in Zihuatanejo, Carlos explained to us the history of his home town and answered our many questions about the market and the food we were seeing. After stopping to purchase some treats at a great local bakery and a short drive around the downtown area we were taken to a lovely restaurant in La Ropa where our class was held outside in a lovely garden. The cooking class was a wonderful experience. Elsya who led our cooking class is truly a gem. We could tell she loves to share her knowledge and experiences in cooking with others and does it in such an inviting manor. On our way home from the cooking class Carlos took us back to the market where he assisted me in the purchase of a molcajete. The food was excellent and our time spent with Elysa and Carlos is definintely a highlight of our trip to Ixtapa. A must do on your trip to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.

Cooking Class in Mexico - This was a fantastic tour and highlight of our trip to Ixtapa. Husband and wife team did an excellent job, him with the market excursion and her with the cooking class. The class was held in a back courtyard of a lovely boutique hotel, the hosts were attentive and the food and drinks were plentiful. Interesting recipes we will try at home. Great Tour and Cooking Experience - My friends and I (8 of us) booked this day and we were not disappointed. It was everything we were looking forward to and more. Carlos & Elsa made it a great learning, fun and tasty experience. We were picked up and driven to the Mercado, Carlos taught us so much about spices, great foods and handy tools in the Market. Then Francisco drove us to the restaurant where Elsa made us laugh, taught us to cook our favorite Mexican dishes and then we were able to relax in the restaurant and enjoy the tasty dishes we created. The whole day was well organized and Carlos & Elsa were great teachers. So much fun, would definitely recommend this!!

Prompt pick up at hotel.... - Prompt pick up at hotel. Organized class including visit to local market with some education re various foods etc. 5 recipes during a good 4 hrs cooking class at a leisurely way. Great food and drinks. Small class of 6 was excellent!
