Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - After breakfast, visit the stunning scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Begin with a cable car ride to Huangshi Village, situated 1080 meters above sea level. As the saying goes, “He who does not reach Huangshi Village does not pay a true visit to Zhangjiajie.” Later, explore the renowned Golden Whip Brook, which stretches 7.5 km through mountains and valleys, known for its clear water, lush mountains, steep cliffs, and tranquil valley.

For those who prefer a shorter walk, you can explore part of the Golden Whip Stream, then drive to a beautiful tea garden in the afternoon. Here, you can pick tea, observe the tea-making process in the factory, taste local Chinese tea, and learn about Chinese tea culture and the tea ceremony.

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is China’s first state-level forest park, celebrated for its exquisite forests, uniquely shaped peaks and rocks, beautiful canyons, limestone caves, and breathtaking panoramic views.

Start by taking the 326-meter-high Bailong Elevator (the tallest and fastest in the world) to Yuanjiajie. This area gained fame as the inspiration for the floating mountains in the Hollywood movie Avatar. The peaks in Yuanjiajie are nearly the same height, creating a mountain platform ideal for enjoying sweeping vistas.

Next, take a sightseeing bus to Tianzi Mountain, where you can admire the stunning view of peaks rising one after another. The mountain top offers a magnificent and spectacular view of the entire scenic area.

Evening Activity: Stroll along Xibu Street, located in Wulingyuan Center, featuring bars, tea houses, souvenir shops, local snacks, and more.

Yellow Dragon Cave & Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge & Grand Canyon (B, L)

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - After breakfast, prepare for today’s exciting adventures. First, drive about 30 km to visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Begin by walking on the highest and longest glass bridge in the world. Then, enjoy the charming sights of running waters, cascading waterfalls, lush vegetation, and more.

Next, drive about 20 km to explore the natural wonder of Yellow Dragon Cave, also known as Huanglong Cave. This underground palace is praised by UNESCO experts as the most beautiful cave in the world, covering an area of 100,000 square meters, with a length of 7.6 kilometers and a height of 140 meters. It features two underground rivers, four waterfalls, 13 caverns, and 10,000 stalagmites and stalactites in this vast limestone cave.

Known as the “Soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie,” Tianmen Mountain, standing 1,500 meters above sea level, boasts miraculous and unique geographic landforms, unparalleled natural landscapes, and profound cultural significance.

Experience the longest cableway in Asia, stretching 7200 meters, and capture photos of Avenue toward Heaven with 99 turns from the cable car. At the top of Tianmen Mountain, enjoy the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and take photos away from the crowds; hold your breath and experience the thrilling Glass Sky Walk. Then, visit the natural mountain-penetrating Karst cave - Tianmen Cave.
