- Jingting Pavilion Tea House - Immerse yourself in a cultural experience lasting roughly two hours, featuring two distinct activities: Taichi practice and Eaglewood Incense appreciation.
The initial activity is the “Hands in Hands Tai Chi Exercise,” which spans about one hour. Participants will be introduced to the fundamental and clear-cut movements of Taichi. You’ll discover the proper breathing techniques during practice. A coach will provide you with direct, hands-on guidance, ensuring your movements are performed correctly.
Following that, you’ll engage in Eaglewood Incense Appreciation for approximately one hour. This session will cover the historical evolution of Chinese incense culture, focusing on eaglewood. You’ll explore the visual and olfactory traits of eaglewood from various regions. The workshop will also teach you how to identify authentic eaglewood, differentiate it from imitations, and understand the creation processes of fake eaglewood. You’ll be able to recognize the value differences in eaglewood based on its origin and quality.
