the 3 Must do´s on Sansibar - the Jozani Forest was very nice. A beautiful nature experience with a local guide. You can see a lot of monkeys. we even saw a snake. Spice tour is the vbest tour on Sansibar. At stone town we liked the market, the excellent craffts and the beautifol doors. Otherwise Stone town is very dirty. we did not like the tow. Dont miss to drink a Spicy Chai Tea.

They didn't know what to do with us - Even though we contacted them the day before to make sure the tour was still happening, the guide was 45 mins late and had been pulled from another activity when we called to see why none had come. Although our Stone town guide was very nice, he wasn't very comfortable with the tour and said there really wasn't very much to show us. We took our own walking tour the next morning and saw a lot more with just a map. He then said that we would be driven to Jozani forest and then to a spice farm. I asked about lunch which was supposed to be provided and he seemed surprised, make a coupe of calls and then changed the itinerary to have lunch given to us at the spice farm. Our stone town tour was about 1.5 hours and he mostly showed us churches. Most the places talked about in the tour information were not shown. I feel like they tried to give us a tour, but it seemed like a put together at the last minute affair.
