Many great Zanzibar experiences in one day - Great tour of Stone Town, Spice Farm and Prison Island. Ali and Simba our private guide and driver, were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The day was at our pace, interesting and unique, and included sampling many local fruits and spices, a tour through Stone Town’s historic, narrow streets and a private boat ride to a beautiful island, rich in history.

Deserved a tip - Sat jun 8th 24' ...Great tour if time is tight, lots seen but beware its a long day.. Guide & driver were lovely, friendly and prompt.. they even made an unscheduled stop at a roadside market to buy me a watermelon. Please tour operator pass on my thanks to the guide and driver, I was distracted when ending the tour and forgot to leave a Tip which they deserved.. & im afraid I forgot their names. I would recommend this company. I felt safe and lots seen for the fair price.

A great experience!!! - Both our driver and our tour guide, Hassan, went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We learned so much on this trip and saw amazing sights. We highly recommend this experience.

Experience the culture of Zanzibar close up - Ibrahim was punctual and picked us up at the ferry as promised. We appreciated that we could identify him easily since there was a lot of folks exiting the ferry terminal. His greeting was cordial as we walked to our transportation. He outlined our daily program as we headed for our first stop at the Spice Farm. Ibrahim was knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour and we felt a genuine sense of wanting to share the richness of the culture of Zanzibar. He was thorough, patient and ensured that our needs were met. He went above and beyond our requests throughout the tour. We enjoyed all aspect of this tour

Fun Day in Zanzibar - Driver arrived on time. Hassan our guide was very informative and knowledgeable about each location and the local culture. He took his time and never rushed us allowing us to experience everything at our own pace. Make sure you bring or wear water shoes as you will be stepping in the water to board the boat to Prison Island. Was a great day and would definitely recommend this tour.

Good overall - Pick up at 8.30 as promised, very nice driver who took us to the Spice farm to meet our guide (Ali or Aly or whatever). We did a tour with very detailed explanations from Ali, with the only downside being 2 "events" made for you to tip the other workers there (made us a crown from leaves, went up a tree to grab cocconuts while singing and gave us fruit to taste). Ali suggested a tip but we carried on. We proceeded to Prison Island, which is very small but you can see and touch the turtles. Again, Ali gave us a 10 minute explanation about the island. Afterwards, we went to visit Stone Town guided by Ali and then headed back to the hotel (around 4 pm without Lunch - we chose not tô get it). We didnt snorkel or got offered water. Ali was very fun and provided great insight in every visit we made so overall was a good experience, the Spice farm being the plus in my opinion.

Informative - walking tour - Absolutely everyone was so kind and knowable, the spice tour was particularly fun. You need to make sure you're in cool comfortable clothing as it's a long day.

Not a tour, only a transportation service - The tour was great in accomodating us, allowing us to bring our suitcases and travel straight to the airport at the conclusion of the tour. I really enjoyed the spice tour, but at the end of the spice tour we felt like we were taking to 4 place/experiences were we had to tip. The prison island tour was not a tour, we got dropped off, walked us to the museum and then took us to where the tortoises were. Leant very little about anything as the guide didn’t cover any information. Also did not have any chance to snorkel. Stone town was very disappointing, going into the tour we knew that stone town was a pivotal place in the history of the slave trade and had a lot of culture. We were not told anything about anything on the tour. Only walked to the markets and fish market. That is all. Very disappointing.

Met Some Expectations, Missed Others - Ibrahim was very personable and well informed on many things included in the tour. The spice farm visit was interesting and important and exceeded expectations. The van used until we arrived in Stone Town was comfortable and air conditioned. We were disappointed that a lunch break didn't seem to have been planned originally. After a lot of walking on a hot, humid day, it was a welcome break. The boat to be used to go to Prison Island required a water entry and climb into the small fishing boat, something my short and heavy friend felt was too difficult to do. I wish there had been a warning in the tour description about that. We were not offered a visit to the cathedral. We were given incorrect instructions for accessing the ferry terminal for our return trip. So, in brief, we enjoyed much but, for the money paid, expected more.

Ok - Nice enough trip, nice enough guides but nothing special or additional that I couldn’t have gleaned myself from reading the info boards at the various places. The driver was good.
