Monkeys up close - It was nice to see the monkeys so close up in their environment. The explanations were very interesting. Afterwards, the butterfly farm was great and we had the opportunity to hold a camelion in our hands.

Wonders - In Jozani Forest, your guide transforms the rustling leaves into a symphony of nature, leading you to the elusive red colobus monkeys. As a protector of Zanzibar's natural wonders, your guide imparts the importance of conservation, making this forest excursion more than a trek—it's a journey into biodiversity preservation.

Monkeys and Mangroves - The driver was 20 minutes late which was very worrying and meant that, rather than being amongst the first to arrive at the forest, we were beaten there by a large number of tour buses. The tour itself lived up to expectations, with plenty of monkeys despite the torrential rain.

Hiking through the forest - The tour starts with a van ride for about an hour to the forest. Upon arrival, there were lots of blue monkeys to view (and steal any food if you happened to be eating). Then we headed off for a forest trek to find the red Columbus monkeys. After about an hour, we found a troop. We didn't have time to look for mongoose. There were two small kiosks where you could by bracelets, sarapes, wood plaques and fruit (dragon, oranges, papayas). The only problem we had was the heat (certainly not under the control of tge tour operators!). The van was older and had some AC, but not cool enough.

Recommended. - It was a very interesting tour. If you want to get to know the nature of Zanzibar a little better, this is the place to go. Our guide had a lot of information about the plants and trees. We didn't see that many animals, but it's not our tour guide's fault because there was a long, heavy rain shower that day. That's just nature, but not a lack of quality. I still have a tip for the organizer. Please offer a pick-up when booking... We were only informed about 12 hours beforehand that we could be picked up after all, but we had already booked our taxi to the forest. So, and just for that, one star less. Otherwise, thank you very much for a great morning.

Oh well,… - The guided tour is relatively "modest", or in other words, you can do it but don't have to. So it's not really recommended.

Jozani - It all went very quickly, we saw the monkeys but our guide didn't spend much time telling us about the types of plants and observing other types of animals. In theory this trip lasted 1h.30min but it felt like it lasted around 20min.

To flee - This excursion is a disgrace and a clear scam. It certainly doesn't last half a day and fortunately. The guides are very unpleasant and the visit is carried out very casually. Too many people, few monkeys and the site is dirty.
