Zanzibar- Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Embark on your safari adventure today! Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to the airport. After a one-hour flight to Arusha, your guide will greet you at Arusha Airport and drive you approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park.

This park is renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, some of the largest in Africa. As you traverse the park in a vehicle with an open roof, you’ll witness seasonal swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River, bustling with wildlife such as various birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants.

Later in the day, proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Visit

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, journey to Ngorongoro Crater, often regarded as a remarkable natural wonder. This area hosts over 120 species of animals, including the iconic Big Five. It’s an excellent location to observe the endangered black rhinoceros grazing in solitude and to see numerous hippos cooling off in the water.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and photograph some of Africa’s most renowned animals. The crater is home to many predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, along with a large population of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, cape buffaloes, and more. After an exhilarating day, enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool in the park. Then, continue with the final game drive and later exit the crater, returning to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

The journey begins with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park. Home to millions of flamingos and tree-climbing lions, you’ll enjoy a full game drive until the afternoon, then proceed to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
