Depart Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - The safari adventure kicks off with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro. Your guide will provide a brief overview of the trip. The journey to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2 hours from Arusha or 3 hours from Kilimanjaro. A stop at a supermarket can be arranged if necessary.

Upon arrival at the park, your guide will manage the entry permits. The game drive begins immediately, offering the chance to spot Tarangire’s renowned elephant herds, as well as lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, monkeys, and giraffes. The park is also a fantastic location for bird enthusiasts.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park around midday. Afterward, continue the exploration with an afternoon game drive to discover more wildlife and stunning landscapes.

In the evening, you will be transferred to your overnight accommodation. Relax, enjoy dinner, and unwind for a peaceful night, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Tarangire National Park to the Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park - The following day starts with breakfast at your lodge. Your guide will then meet you for the drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through Karatu town and the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands.

Upon reaching the Serengeti, your guide will take care of the permits while you enjoy a picnic lunch. The afternoon game drive will then commence, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and elusive leopards. The park is also a prime spot for bird watching, featuring species like the lilac-breasted roller.

Your guide will share fascinating insights about the wildlife and landscape. As the sun sets, you will be taken to your accommodation within the park for a warm welcome and dinner. Relax and reflect on the incredible day spent in the wild.

Full day at the Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park - Day three begins with an early breakfast. Your guide will pick you up for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Early mornings are ideal for observing active predators such as lions and cheetahs. Witness herds of wildebeest, zebras, and elephants against the expansive plains, creating perfect photo opportunities.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot in the park. After lunch, explore additional areas like the Seronera Valley, known for lions and leopards, or the Moru Kopjes, home to the rare black rhino.

As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner. Spend the evening relaxing and sharing stories of the day’s adventures under the African sky.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Serengeti National Park - The next day starts with an early breakfast. Your guide will meet you for more thrilling game drives. As the sun rises, search for wildlife across the Serengeti. Observe lions resting, wildebeest grazing, and elephants moving through the bush. The park’s diverse landscapes provide numerous opportunities to see animals in their natural habitat.

Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful Serengeti. After lunch, the journey continues with a transfer game drive as you begin to leave the park. Continue spotting animals as you travel through the grasslands and woodlands.

In the evening, arrive at your next accommodation. Enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious dinner, sharing stories from the day. After a full day of adventure, enjoy a restful night’s sleep, ready for the final day of your safari.

Ngorongoro Crater – back to Arusha – End of safari

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - The last day begins with an early breakfast. Your guide will pick you up for a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Pass through Karatu and observe Maasai villages in the highlands before reaching the crater gate.

Your guide will handle the permits, and then the exciting game drives begin. Look for the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. You might also encounter hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and numerous birds.

Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. After lunch, continue game driving to see more wildlife in the crater.

In the late afternoon, exit the crater and travel back to Arusha or the airport, filled with wonderful safari memories. Note: the exact departure time depends on your hotel or flight schedule.
