Great experience just outside of Vic Falls/ Livingstone - Strongly recommend this activity and company if you are looking to get a different experience outside of the more touristy Vic Falls/ Livingstone. The village is incredible.. I've never seen anything like it. The guide there was very nice and informative, and it was wonderful meeting the friendly people around the village. Our guide from Cherish was amazing.

Village tour and cooking class - I was alone in Livingstone for a couple of days so I booked some tours around Livingstone. The village tour I did included a cooking class which was really the highlight of the tour so if you do the tour I would definitely book the cooking class as well. The tour started with a trio to the market on the outskirts of Livingstone where we bought the food for the class which included a live chicken or quinoa fowl your choice, peanuts, tomatoes, onions, garlic, mais or yucca flour, and pumpkin greens. Then we proceeded to the village where we met the village guide who took me around the village showing how they lived and explaining different customs of the tribe. Then we walked to the area where they had set up for the cooking class. They were very conscious of cleanliness throughout the class even though we were cooking under a tree in very primitive conditions. We started with butchering the fowl and plucking it. I was expecting it to be rather disturbing but she did it in a way I hardly realized it had happened. Then we plucked it. Then we cleaned and deveined the pumpkin leaves, ground the peanuts and chipped the tomatoes and onions. Next we started cooking. Everything took about 2-3 hours and we talked about all sorts of things during that time. When everything was finished we sat together and ate the meal. It was delicious and we had enough to share with some of the villagers who were close by. All in all it was one of my favorite days in Zambia!!

Only 1 hours - The tour was indicated as 3 h and it took only 1 hours. We were rushing through the village only to get fast to the souvenir market. It’s a pity because it could have been a niche experience. 50€ per person was to much.
