Fantastic experience - recommended must do! - We (4 adults) planned a trip to Zagora while exploring Morocco with a small aircraft. As weather is not always stable, Ismael agreed nonetheless to make preparations for our tour despite the chance we wouldn’t make it to Zagora. Luckily we made it and were picked up by our nice guide Rashid and the skilled driver Ali with a very comfortable 4x4 car. It sported also a fridge with cold water at all times. They were very flexible with our demands to stop and eat and so on and drove us into the Sahara desert to a camp with a short stop at an interesting Berber village and pottery (also a guided short tour) and a detour to some palm plantage. On the way we learned a lot about the culture from our guide. We had the so-called „luxury tent“, we didn‘t know what to expect - but it was luxury indeed with very comfortable beds, nice furniture, a bathroom with shower and toilet. At first the electricity was broken for the whole camp but they fixed that later. We did than an 1hr camel trip which was amazing - also with a friendly camel guide into the wonderful sunset. Later dinner with several courses of typical Marocco dishes was served. The planned music session after was canceled unfortunately because other guests decided to go to sleep very early. But the silence helped to enjoy the desert under the starlit breathtaking night sky. We slept very well, had been offered a good breakfast and a flawless trip back with some further places like a carpet manufacturer in a nice Berber village. We recommend wholeheartedly this agency and the trip into the desert from Zagora.

Desert trip - When I arrived in Zagora, I found a comfortable accommodation (paradis touraeg), where I got a good offer for a day trip with camel ride from Ismael. We drove with a grand taxi (35Dirham) around 45min to the village, where the tour begun. The camel ride needs around one hour through the desert, the dunes wasn’t spectacularly, but we had a great sunset and sunrise there. Isn’t season now in morocco, just few tourists there and I could spend the night under the stars. What I missed was an english speaker and a campfire, but in the Ramadan the people are to exhausted. But in all I had a great experience my first time in the Sahara desert. Cheers
