  • Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje) - The Sea Organ stands as a contemporary emblem of the city - an architectural marvel situated in the submerged section of the city’s waterfront. The movement of the waves through the musical pipes located under the sea’s surface produces a remarkable auditory experience, known as the music of the sea, which permeates the expansive area of the waterfront promenade. The same creator, Nikola Bašić, is also responsible for the Greeting to the Sun, positioned at the pinnacle of the Zadar peninsula. The Greeting to the Sun is composed of three hundred multilayered glass panels set flush with the stone pavement of the quay, forming a 22-meter diameter circle. It is designed as a three-dimensional installation in the form of an amphitheater, encircled by stone blocks that depict the planets of the Solar System and their paths.
According to the esteemed Alfred Hitchcock, this segment of the Zadar waterfront offers the most magnificent sunset on the planet.

  • Church of St. Donat - A guided stroll through the historic center of Zadar. Opportunity for a photography break.

Great tuk tuk ride - It was our first tuk tuk experience . I went with my family and our 4 years old son was so excited. Our guide, David, was very polite, approachable and he knew everything what we ask about Zadar and a lot of more interesting things. It wasn't our first arrival to Zadar, we will definitely come back and be very happy to repeat that experience.

Great trip to Zadar - After an initial mix up over the collection point Marco collected us from the cruise port. We had a really interesting couple of hours and a coffee with him. He showed us some really interesting features of Zadar including the Sea Organ, The Monument to the Sun, the Sphinx and the City gates. He gave a really interesting commentary as we travelled and when we stopped at the various sights. At the end of the tour he told us other places in the city to visit. It was a really worthwhile trip and good value for money

Amazing tour of Zadar, and the beautiful country of Croatia. - Our favorite stop, was where the C Oregon played in the fascination of that. At that stop we saw some very amazing cathedrals, and a tower and old ruins from ancient days. Our driver was wonderful, and answered all of our questions in a very professional way.

No memorable points. Nice... - No memorable points. Nice young man,but not a tour guide. Ride around city with no particular point of interest or interest g facts or history. Tour less than 1 hour, not two as stated in booking. Can’t see out of TukTuk, seats too high, and clear plastic windshield too low.

Hard uncomfortable bench seats. Zadar has basically been destroyed through the last wars - Seeing small boat marina, Yacht marina, super yacht marina. A sphinx in some one’s garden water Organ. That’s all you really will see

Expensive and lame - We arrived on a cruise ship and made sure we were early for our 90 minute panoramic Tuk Tuk ride. All started well and the young driver seemed nice enough, he took us to the city centre and we advised that we had spent the morning walking around the city centre so he offered to take us to an extra spot instead, which we thought would be a bonus. We arrived at the city gate where we got out and the driver then disappeared for about 15 minutes, we stood around waiting for him and he eventually turned up eating some kind of sandwich, no worries, he must have been having lunch. He then drove us past a few more beaches then took back streets here and there (padding it out to go 90 minutes perhaps?) until we arrived at a beach and cocktail bar. We all got out walked down to the beach after he said it would be a 15-20minutes stop. We were done at this place after about 10 minutes, there was nothing there to do except take a picture of our ship back across the bay. We stood next to the Tuk Tuk for almost half an hour waiting for our driver to return, he was again having something to eat in the restaurant while we were waiting. Then the best part of the tour, he stopped at an archeologists house that was donated to the government and has large Egyptian influenced statues in the large grounds. It was genuinely interesting, and the story was quite sad. Then back to the ship. All this stretched to 90 minutes as our driver was busy eating otherwise it would have been about 45 minutes. We still don't know what his special extra stop was to replace the city centre one as the other Tuk Tuks were at every stop we went to. Disappointingly this tour was terrible value for money and I don't know if Zadar is a boring city or if our tour guide just couldn't be bothered. It seemed like the latter as Croatia was generally sensational at every turn. A better idea would be to halve the cost and halve the tour time so people don't feel like they have been ripped off. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this at all. For cruisers I would walk along the promenade then into the city centre via the markets and you have ticked Zadar off.

Taken for a ride - Unfortunately our tour was not what we expected. It was supposed to take approx 2 hours but only took about 1and a half, probably because the driver did not take us to an attraction that was listed as being included, the 5 Wells Square, which we did not realise had been missed until we were finished. Then there was no mention that we would be taken to a beach, scenic as it was, and left to twiddle our thumbs for half an hour whilst the driver had a cup of coffee. Probably may have been fine if we had wanted a coffe too but it just appeared as though it was done to give the driver a break. In addition, most of the historical attractions visited are in the old town, including said 5 Wells Square, which can be easily walked and it would not necessarily need an actual vehicle to do. So in effect, we paid AUD$167 to be taken for a ride, literally.
