You can walk on its suspension bridge over a river and feel the breeze of the waterfall.

In Chignahuapan you will find the beauty that inhabits the jungle that seems to be extracted from an adventure book: the fruit trees and coffee plantations, and leaves in sight the beautiful waterfalls and the lagoon in the center.

Zacatlán and Chignahuapan are towns in the mountains in the North of the Puebla´s state, visiting them will be like walking in the clouds. The dense fog slowly falls to cover the hills that surround these charming towns. Its gastronomy, crafts, wines and liquors will leave you amazed.

Beautiful day - Really nice tour guide, Juan (plus one who joined us because he was training, Aaron). The towns were gorgeous! Great information and a diverse day. We tried apples and pan de queso in Zacatlan — there we also visited some churches, a clock museum and a bakery. Chignahuapan was also nice. We ate lunch (at our request), and visited a Christmas ornament workshop and some churches. Our guides were very good with translations when needed, ATM stops, and bathroom breaks. Punctual and professional. Really nice day!

Two day tour - Private Driver / Guide Juan Pablo. We did this tour in 2 days. Spent the night in Zactlan. Juan Pablo is very knowledgable. He was set to fulfill our wishes. Truly was a pleasure. Cost was a little expensive since there was 3 of us, $650 total. We also did a 3rd day tour to Chalula & Atlixco, also was a good tour.

Rodrigo is a great tour guide! - Both Chignahuapan and Zacatlan are well worth a visit. Rodrigo is an excellent tour guide: extremely knowledgeable and personal. I had read that the tour was for a shorter period of time than it was actually scheduled to be (6 hours versus 12-14 hours), so we requested that Rodrigo modify the tour so that it would be shorter.

Must do this side trip from Puebla! - This is a wonderful tour! Olivia, our guide, was knowledgable, enthusiastic, and energetic. She provided suggestions, and accommodated our requests. Zacatlan and Chingnajuapan are must see locations if you are touring Puebla. There are beautiful panoramic views, quaint street scenes, and unique architectural sights.

Zacatlan and Chignahuapan Are A Must See While in Puebla - Zacatlan and Chignahuapan were absolutely gorgeous. Zacatlan was our favorite place to visit. The Glass Murals along with the Cemetary was our favorite place to visit. Words can not explain the beauty of the glass artwork. Chignahuapan was also a very interesting place to visit. If traveling to Puebla, these two cities are a MUST! Our tour guides Olivia and Ernest were wonderful. Many facts and stories were told on our 12 hr. tour. Olivia and Ernest were fantastic. They were so professional and could not do enough to help my husband and me. They customized my tours so that I was able to enjoy myself due to the fact that I have trouble walking long distances and can't do many steps. Without them I would have not been able to accomplish these cities. We are going home with many great memories!
