- Zaanse Schans - You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.

Embark on a singular excursion that takes you through some of the most picturesque locales of the Netherlands: Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans, all in one day.
During our adventure, we’ll drop by a local dutch cheese factory, visit a factory creating wooden shoes and partake in an opulent diamond showing at Zaanse Schans. Following that, there’s a fabulous photo-stop scheduled at Afsluitdijk, the world’s longest dike; In the afternoon, uncover the lush ‘Little Venice’ of Holland and revel in a complimentary one hour boat cruise in Giethoorn.
This tour includes free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; accommodating transport on a luxurious, comfortable mini bus (Mercedes branded) with a maximum capacity of 8 persons; and each traveler gets a complimentary bottle of water.

Great day trip from Amsterdam - Excellent tour with Reinier! The whole family, including our two kids (15 and 13), had lots of fun. Favorite activities included the cheese making demonstration / tasting and the boat ride in Giethoorn. Great day trip from Amsterdam!

A day in Nederland with Liedse - Our day with Liedse was perfect. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time!
Liedse loves his job and is excellent in making you feel comfortable and welcome to his beautiful home country. He explained everything very well and answered so many questions about the areas. We love the village stops of Afsluitdijk and Giethoorn. Lunch stop with traditional Dutch food was nice too. The history details were very interesting. If you want to see the country,not just big city I would recommend this tour. Ask for Liedse. You won't be disappointed.
He also provided snacks and umbrellas... Very enjoyable day.

Planning more tours like this with local guides - This was a great tour. Pete was friendly and knowledgeable. The day was cold, rainy, and windy, but the scenery was beautiful. The cheese was delicious. The diamonds sparkled. The clogs were not as uncomfortable as they looked. The dike was larger than I realized. The canals were calm (for those not steering the boat) and picturesque. I enjoyed this so much that now I’m looking for tours for every trip that I take and even in my hometown. I highly recommend taking a tour like this early in your trip so that you still have a couple of days to check out the recommendations that the tour guide gives for other enjoyable local activities. If you take this exact tour, hopefully you get Pete (although we bumped into some of his colleagues who seemed equally friendly).

Amazing Amsterdam!!!!! - We had such a great time in this trip. Glad to know more about the history of Zane’s and schans and Giethroon, thanks to our very own guide Leidse who provided every minute details of it. Leidse made sure that our trip should have been a memorable one rather than just a normal trip. Overall, our day was made and we are really happy. Excellent tour - This is a must do tour! Our guide Leidse was excellent. He kept us entertained whilst providing us with all the information we needed at each stop. He made us laugh on the bus - not a dull moment to be had. The highlight of the tour was Geithoorn. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour - This tour is a must! Our tour guide Leidse was brilliant and made the day thoroughly enjoyable for us. He made us laugh but also provided us with interesting information on all the places we visited today. He also kept us entertained in the bus.
All the places we visited today were amazing but the highlight was definitely Geithoorn! It was as if we were in fairytale. Every where you looked was so pretty!

Living the Pura Vida on the ride! - First of all our guide Leidse was super friendly and knew a lot of interesting information about the places we visited, the minivan was comfy and he spoiled us with authentic dutch treats along the way and bottles of water. The places were super beautiful and we had time in each visit for ourselves to take pictures and try authentic food and of course do some shopping.

Day trip - Our guide was 'Captain' Kai who was very informative and knowledgeable, he was also an excellent driver and a very good captain whilst taking us on a canal cruise in Giethoorn. Overall an excellent day!
