- Cathedral Fig Tree - The tour begins at the Cathedral Fig Tree in Danbulla National Park. Here, visitors are introduced to Bundaburra-Yidinji Country and the rainforest culture of the Yidinji people. A brief 200m return walk allows guests to admire the majestic Cathedral Fig and hear its stories.
- Lake Barrine - The second stop is Lake Barrine, where the diverse fish species and the Yidinji creation beliefs about the lake are discussed. The traditional diets of the Yidinji people and the impact of recent settlements leading to a reliance on Western foods are also explained. A short 100m return walk offers a view of the ancient giant Kauri Pines and insights into the history of timber harvesting and its effects on the rainforest.
- Watsonville - Leaving Lake Barrine, the tour moves out of the rainforest into the open bushland of Mbabaram country, arriving at Watsonville. At the Culture Park, the early mining history and its effects on the Mbabaram people, who have cared for the bushland and its waters for millennia, are explored. Traditional hunting methods and tools used by the Mbabaram people are demonstrated, and guests can try using a spear-thrower and learn how didgeridoos are crafted from termite-hollowed trees. A picnic lunch in the bush is enjoyed before proceeding to the final stop.
- Herberton - The tour concludes at the Rainforest To Bush Tour Centre in Herberton, where cultural artifacts, historical photographs, and cultural heritage displays are available for viewing. Guests have the opportunity to purchase Aboriginal arts & crafts, souvenirs, and gifts before being returned to their accommodation.
