Knowledgeable guide, impressive sites, fascinating history - Fantastic!! Our tour guide, Roger, has conducted extensive research into the battles of Ypres as well as the post-war cleanup efforts - even writing multiple books on the subjects. The small size of the tour groups makes it easy to follow what the guide is saying, and allows for any questions that you may have along the way. The museum exhibits feature an impressive collection of recovered artifacts and photographs; and the trenches will give you a small taste of the harsh, claustrophobic conditions that the soldiers lived through. Make sure to check the weather and dress appropriately - you might be stepping in low levels of water/mud, so wear shoes that can handle it!

Battlefield tour - The tour leader was a really an expert and his local knowledge made it very poignant. It is a very moving thing to do and for those interested in the First World War just to see it firsthand the terrible conditions soldiers fought each other. To see the gravestones of so many unknown soldiers made you realise what the ultimate sacrifice was I was very touched and very moved.

Don’t look elsewhere - superb - Our guide Roger was excellent- his knowledge combined with his passion is outstanding. He brought to life the battlefields of Ypres and I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another tour with him, just brilliant. To go to such a place that experienced such awful devastation and loss of life needs a man like him to bring it the respect it deserves. Thank you from us all and hopefully see you next year.

Excellent tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - Excellent tour. Roger was an incredibly knowledgeable guide full of facts and anecdotes. He catered very well for our family and our children (aged 8 and ten) were fascinated with what they learned. The tour offers a deep insight into the WW1 battles, and offers experiences of both sides. Great value for money, excellent communication, and very comfortable transport. Would highly recommend.
