Fabulous - The tour was phenomenal. Our guide, Lyonnel, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We stopped at several places: a chocolate boutique, a coffee shop, a shopping area with fantastic little stores, a rum distillery, and a most beautiful beach. It really was a most wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful island and informative guide. - Nice, informative tour of Martinique. The beach was pretty and we swam out to the jetty. The rum factory was really cool, too. I wish the communication was better because we didn’t know our meeting spot until we had to call Viator. I wish we had left earlier so we had more time for shopping or at the beach.

Nice if you want a chill day - We had booked a Southern island Tour with Exotic Tours, however when we arrived we were told that our tour had been cancelled. This was extremely disappointing but we were offered to go on either of the other two tours going ahead, we decided on a southern beach day with a rum distillery stop. We were taken firstly to a really small place, that looked deserted, too do some shopping, after 30 minutes in this small village we set off for the rum distillery, Trois Ribières, where we expected a tour and a rum tasting. The distillery was no longer working, so there was not much to see, however there was a small shop on site, which had a small counter in the corner where you could taste all the different rums they had. After 30 minutes of being in distillery we were then taken to a small beach in Saint-Anne, and given 3 hours here. Which personally I think was way too long, the beach was extremely crowded, not many places too grab a drink, food prices were absolutely ridiculous, toilet facilities were the worst I’ve every seen. Our tour guide was lovely, and was very knowledgeable, nice tour if you wanted a super relaxed and chill day, but not so much if you wanted too see the island.

Not as Advertised - South Panoramic and Beach Paradise Tour of Martinique. We met our tour bus driver and guide Lionel at the port and set out on an air conditioned bus with the two of us the only passengers. We learned that on Sundays all stores and venues are closed. We had to drive around Fort de France with no stops so headed out to the countryside. The roads were very busy, being a Sunday everyone was out going to the beach as there was a yacht race. We asked about stopping at a beach for a swim but were surprised to learn that public beaches do not have lounges or umbrellas. Finally, we ended up at a restaurant with a beachfront and a view of some yachts. No water or snacks were supplied as advertised, so we tried to purchase some drinks. However, Euros were the only currency accepted on this island, so paying in American dollars was not accepted. Finally, the owner at this restaurant accepted our $10.USD and brought us some refreshments. At this point we asked the guide to take us back to the ship as it was a long drive back. This tour cost us $148.64 CAD which we felt was overpriced and not what we expected.

NO TOUR just a taxi to a beach - Upon getting off the ship they were waiting as advised but when we got in the van there was 1 extra person and seemed they had oversold the tour!!! After what seemed like ages and convincing 2 people to swap tours it then transpired 1 person was in the wrong van so the other 2 people came back to the correct tour they booked. Due to this we were around 1 hour late leaving the port! We then headed off to the shopping village which was in the middle of nowhere down probably the worst dirt track known to man!!!! After the dirt track we didn’t expect much from the shopping village and that’s just what we got!!! It was basically a disused factory with a roof tile shop, timber yard and we parked up and got off the van at a brick yard, perfect if you wanted to build a house, which surprisingly none of us did, but not so good to do some local shopping!!! We all spent the time there in a coffee shop and suprisingly to the driver we all got back on the van very early! After he finished he phone call leaving us sat there for over 10 minutes we set off up the horrendous dirt track for us to stop at the top, and the driver who spoke virtually no English to type into google translate there was traffic and we have to miss the rum distillery tour and tasting which we had paid for. It then took us an age to get to the beach as we went round the coastal roads and the majority of the time the driver was in his mobile phone, when we finally got to the beach the driver said 3.30 pick up to which we was all concerned as it took us nearly 2 hours to get there and the ship was leaving at 5.30pm!!! He called a woman on his phone who was translator for us all we finally agreed on 3pm collection. Due to us arriving at the beach so late it was a fight for sunbeds and the majority of the tour had to lie on the sand. The driver turned up as agreed and we did get back to the port in good time for the ship, but unfortunately there was no one to talk to about how disappointed we all was with the “tour” we did, and the fact we prepaid for it in advance. Upon arriving home we reached out to “you save, they benefit” who told us they had had many complaints regarding this tour and they advised we should email Lyonnel and also CC them into it so they can help in our complaint if needs be. All we got was a standard reply “I received your email that I deal with immediately”. After 10 days I messaged again for an update off him and advised I would Contact PayPal and leave reviews about our tour to which he told me “If you want a refund you Can sée with PayPal.” So I did and they instantly refunded us in full, which we didn’t want and if Lyonnel bothered to reply to us we could have had a chat regarding a partial refund!!! All in all in future we would never book with this company again, and would research who “you save they benefit” use for their tours!!!
