Additional Information

Join us for a private group tour of the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, featuring an immersive exploration of Yorktown Battlefields like Surrender Field, the national museum maintained by the National Park Service, and General Washington’s original tent from the Yorktown Battle of October 1781. We’ll also visit the monument and cave that Cornwallis withdrew into at Yorktown Beach.

Our special tour entails a comprehensive educational journey into the several-week-long Yorktown siege, culminating in the yielding of arms on October 19, 1781. For groups of four or more visiting Williamsburg, we provide transportation along Colonial Parkway, constructed in the 1940s, to each of the sites. Our afternoon itinerary at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown features the canon firing at 3:00pm, weather permitting. Expect to spend approximately 2 hours on the tour and 1 hour in transit, totalling a 3-hour experience. However, the duration may reduce to 2 hours if we commence in Yorktown, or slightly more if participants intend to shop at the museums.

  • Remaining time will be allotted for pick up and travel time in between the attractions

Always learning history - Our tour guide, Bambi, was excellent. Her knowledge of history was simply incredible. She was easy to understand and she provided us with water and snacks. We both learned so much from her and the experience. So happy to have booked this important event.
