Fun night on the River Ouse - Very enjoyable trip along the river made even better as eclipse was happening. Crew provided solar glasses and positioned the boat to allow for good viewing. Recommend this activity

Chilled river trip, great value. - Easy to find, great welcome on board, it was a boat full so couldn't hear the commentary very well, but was happily enjoying the good priced drinks, company and view anyway. Great value.

Good mix of music and... - Good mix of music and tour facts about the area surrounding the river Ouse. Length of one hour perfect.

Great introduction to York - great experience - staff were friendly, drinks were reasonably priced, a great time was had by all!

Great weather for a boat trip - Was a nice relaxed trip on the boat and weather was perfect. We had a slight delay setting off due to a last minute change of crew member, think this was illness related but we weren't told. We sat on lower deck so wasn't much to see but didn't bother us as just wanted a boat trip. Some people had fish and chips but not sure how that was booked as never saw that option. The drinks weren't cheap but was nice to have available. Some people complained at the end it wasn't a full hour but again it didn't bother us as was only just over 5 minutes short but did cause a delay in getting off.

Overpriced pretty average boat trip - Boat & weather lovely, was a nice warm summer evening so thought we'd take in a little tourist trip. Thought was overpriced for the event, it did last an hour as advertised but was very underwhelmed with the information / commentary. There was only information given on half a dozen items and only cursory details at that. There are so many noteworthy things on the banks that were not mentioned. Will not be taking another trip.

A damp squib - It was a disappointing trip with little commentary. There were lots of opportunities to tell us more.

Less music and more info please - Lovely boat trip in York . Did the evening tour . Old boat but that was ok. When the man was delivering a commentary it was good and informative. Unfortunately there was little information given due to most of the time pop music was played. York is an amazing place and for me I would have preferred more commentary and less music.

Disappointed - Not really a cruise! Half an hr one way then back Uncomfortable seats Couldn’t hear the guide either

Disappointing - Probably the most disappointing boat trip we have ever taken. It was easy to find the meeting point and the crew were delightful, however, the commentary, which was advertised as interactive, lasted only 12 minutes of the hour long cruise. It certainly was not interactive in any way. It would be unfair to say we learned nothing new about York during the tour but we gained very little new information. There must be so much more to relate about the buildings and bridges that we passed in the city and information about the city and its history that could be discussed during the 48 minutes outside the city. We certainly would not recommend this trip.
