Do this walking tour - We were a party of 5, 2 of us from Devon and 3 who live in York. Nick our guide, delivered the history in an easy to understand context, with dates, background and contemporary facts all mixed together to make an interesting and amusing talk. Recommended for locals and visitors alike.

Excellent York tour. - Guide was very knowledgeable and gave a good understanding of the city. Also very accommodating. We were supposed to do the tour on Saturday but our train was delayed and so we couldn’t make the start time. The company allowed us to join the Sunday tour instead,

Great tour!! - The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was very interesting! We loved the tidbits of the mason yard for the Minster. We had taken the tour of the inside of the Minster and it was interesting to hear the stories of how it is continuously maintained. The tour also went partway along the walls and St. Cuthbert's Church as well as the Shambles and other interesting locations in York. There was fun stories all along the way.
