Wonderful Day Tour of the Dales - Wonderful eight hour tour of the Dales starting in York. Our small group was taken through the Dales by John. My wife and I both believe he is the best tour guide we have ever encountered. While driving our group in a small 20 seat bus, John kept up a steady, and often funny conversation that was loaded with information and anecdote. We stopped seven or eight times in small villages, churches and settings of incomparable beauty. Included was a wonderful and lengthy demonstration of falconry at a castle that had seen better days. We also made several stops where the series “All Creatures Great and Small” is filmed. A great fun day.

Best way to see the Yorkshire Dales! - We had an amazing day led by John, our friendly and knowledgeable guide! He took great care of us, while ensuring that we experienced the Yorkshire Dales in the best way possible. The route took us on less-traveled roads with stunning scenery! So fortunate to see hundreds of sheep with their new lambs. Thank you, John, for a memorable day and a dream come true!

The Dales adventures - John was fabulous so much knowledge and history, really involved the group and loved the quiz at the end!
The stops were great and so wonderful to see the fabulous views and villages throughout the day, great stops for photos

Really enjoyable tour of the Dales! - We had John as our tour guide and I have a really enjoyable day out in the dales. John is hugely knowledgeable and is very friendly and welcoming. We visited Masham, Jervaulx Abbey, Bolton Castle, Asgaryth Falls, Wensleydale Creamery & Hawes then travelled over a remote part of the dales with a photo op and continued down to Wharfedale with stops at Hubberholme and Grassington. Finally a drive back via Nidderdale and back to York. Thoroughly enjoyable and I plan to do the North York Moors tour next.

Absolutely perfect dales tour - We enjoyed our day trip with our guide John . The day could not have been more perfect. The weather cooperated and the sun fell on the landscape as we drove down the winding road. Every mile was filled with information from John. He made the trip ! All of the stops offered on this tour were so special , We have been wanting to do this trip for years having John as our guide was worth the wait !!! Thank you Sir ! Looking forward to returning to York and to taking another mountain goat tour with John

Great tour don’t miss it! - Our tour guide was Ben Allen and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic all day. You could tell he really wanted everyone to have a great day and we certainly did ! We felt like we had seen so much throughout the day, much more than we had hoped to. We absolutely recommend this trip and if we are back in York again will certainly book for the Yorkshire moors one.

A must do if you are staying in York - This tour was amazing! There is nothing like the Dales and it is a once in a lifetime experience to have someone guide you through them in the way that Ben did. He was fantastic.
