Highly recommend! - We did this walking food tour on our first night in Yogyakarta. It was a great way to see the city’s main sites as well as some hidden back streets. We loved trying all the different local food and snacks! As well as trying local games. Thank you Sari!

Wonderful street food tour - Sari was a sweet and knowledgeable guide. The food she chose for me to try was true Indonesian which made my visit to Yogyakarta even more special. I had a wonderful time and would do it again.

Yogyakarta Walking Food Tour - Rain or shine, this tour will still take place. It was raining when we met up with our tour guide Ibu Sari. She spoke English well and was very apologetic about the weather since a couple of food vendors were closed when we stopped by. Obviously, not her fault and I told her it wasn’t necessary to apologize for the bad weather. :) We definitely got our steps in and enjoyed the food options nonetheless. I was disappointed that we weren’t able to try the coffee with charcoal, but I understand why the vendor would close up shop if there weren’t any customers as a result of the rain. Bu Sari was very accommodating and offered to be photographer whenever we asked. Despite the weather, we still had a pleasant time and created wonderful memories on this walking food tour. I highly recommend this trip!

It was great to experience the traditional foods of Yogyakarta while also participating in some fun activities. Our guide, Sari, was very friendly and taught us a lot about the area (she also took some great photos of us!) :) This is a great tour to get to know Yogyakarta!

Beautiful night in Yogyakarta with Sari! - We absolutely loved exploring the night life and Traditional Jogya food and drink with our beautiful guide, Sari. She walked us all around Yogyakarta and shared lots of stories and knowledge around the food. We tried so many unique foods including Gudeg, wedang ronde and sweets called bakpia. We also tried lots of herbal tea and got to see so much of this beautiful city! Thank you Sari!

Well Spent 4 Hours - Good communication with us from the start, so we knew where to meet. Our guide Sari was warm, courteous, and kind, and we did eventually fill up our tummies with 6 local treats she had planned for us. She helped us take many nice pictures and maintained the pace of the tour well. A very well-spent 4 hours.

Look no further for a good value street food tour and so much more! - Booked this after searching for a street food tour and was super pleased that it turned out to be so much more than we expected! Widi was a knowledgeable and funny guide who had an eye for a good photo opportunity, and adapted the tour for us to make the most of a traditional shop near where we were staying. Another reviewer suggested coming with an empty stomach and I'd echo this, after trying lots of local bites (including dessert) we were stuffed! Beyond food we also learned about Yogyakarta and Javanese history (and as a bonus how that related to Bali as Widi knew that's where we were going next), and got to try out a tuktuk and peddral car. We can now leave feeling like we've gotten a taste of the real Yogyakarta, thank you so much Widi :)

One of a kind experience - Our tour guide was very good. The itenirary was decent. But its overpriced. The food here in Yogyakarta is very cheap compared to first world cities. I also didn't appreciate that I had to pay for my ride back to my hotel at the end of the tour...granted its only about USD 1.30, considering what they charged us. If money is no object then I would still recommend this tour.
