Sit back and relax in open air carriages aboard Moreton the 116 year old ginger train. Moreton departs every half hour daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm. 

Set sail on a fantastic water voyage around the world on the Overboard boat ride. Hop on board your very own lifeboat and follow the gingerbread man as he tries to escape the clutches of two hungry chefs. The Overboard boat ride operates on a continuous loop from 9.30am to 4pm daily. 

The Ginger Factory is open from 9am to 5pm every day (excluding Christmas Day).

Located in Yandina just off the Bruce Highway and 60 minutes north of Brisbane, the iconic Ginger Factory offers fascinating tours, fun rides, great shopping, and a cafe surrounded by stunning tropical gardens.

The Play All Day ticket includes unlimited rides on the Overboard boat ride. An indoor adventure for the whole family visiting over 200 handmade puppets! It also includes unlimited rides on Moreton the Ginger Train, now over 120 years old. Sit back and relax in open-air carriages and enjoy the Ginger Factory’s beautiful gardens.

Great Family trip - Must go for a family trip. Unlimited Train and Boat Rides Friendly and entertaining staffs. Great tasting and the retail store with discounts if you book for the tour Love the Ginger Shots and Naked Ginger .

A Beautiful must see when in Sunshine Coast - From the entrance to the foliage around, the rides and shops..it was just amazing. We loved the ginger tour and tasting. Also loved the bee talk. A must visit family outing day place - You can spend a whole day here and with the bundle tickets, your young ones will love hopping from one ride to another. The caffe selection is quite good, especially their offering of ginger beers. There are multiple well stocked souvenir shops inside. On a whole, this place ticks all boxes for an amazing family day out

Great day out for all ages - Enjoyed ourselves on our first trip a few years ago so this time we came with brother and sister in law to share the experience. Amazing venue for a fun day out for all ages. The train ride around the grounds is always a great way to start the visit. Got in touch with our inner child and went on the Overboard ride. Tip - see if your group can be in the boat with no-one else as the photo they take at the strat of the trip will be a lovely keepsake. The shops are reasonably priced and have some lovely gift ideas - I always buy presents for friends...and yes something for myself. We always have the ginger scones and a cuppa and grab an icecream before we leave. Highly recommended

Great day out - Haven't been here for years, but on a rainy Sunday, had the best day ever. Did the ginger factory tour, the train ride and had a good look around. It was a really fun relaxing day. Great for kids and big kids alike.

Great day for the kids and big kids as well - We decided to do this at the last minute and had a great day. We did the bee tour which was really interesting and the ginger factory tour and had a great time and just a very good day overall. I had the egg and bacon roll and it came with rocket and their own ginger and onion jam and it was one of the nicest egg and bacon rolls I have ever eaten. Great day great service and interesting

Bundle plus extra for tours - My husband and I took my daughter, son-in-law and their 2 year old. A great time was had by all. The play equipment was a real hit with 2 year old. I bought the bundle, as I thought it was the best deal. I did not understand that it did not include the 2 tours. I then bought them separately when we got there. Next time I will read the details more carefully. My husband and I had the 2 tours twice before, so did not buy tickets for that for us, but the other 2 adults really enjoyed both presenter talks. Great day. We spent the entire day there.....

A favourite of our grandchildren - It’s great fun for kids. This is our third or fourth annual visit with grandchildren now 8 and 5. They were both bursting to return. Their favourite is the boat but even the factory tour appealed especially to the 8 year old given the fun and detailed presentation and the snack at the end demonstrating the diverse application of ginger . The train is always a hoot. They passed on the bee presentation which they found too detailed last year. Food is ok but not a highlight.
