everyone should have plan to go there - we really had v good experience during the ginger & honey bee show visit. then shopping at the end of the trip and believe to bought the pure items.

Yummy ginger - Great place, especially for young kids. The factory tour was eye opening and the bee talk was very informative. The tasting plate was really good. We bought some great ginger products.

Awesome family day - We had so much fun! Did the factory tour hand tasting, and the Bee show. Very educational! Kids were talking about the bees all afternoon.. also enough to do and see. Was a great day out

Enjoyable Day Out for All - We went as a young family with the grandparents and there was something for everyone. We went on the Bee Tour with Blake, which was highly informative for all. We attended the Ginger Factory tour and tasting. They also had kids plates for the children. I liked learning how to use all the ginger condiments. Then we went on the boat ride, which was a highlight as well as the train ride. The children loved running and trying to find the Gruffalo and through the beautiful rainbow umbrella gardens. We finished the day with DIY gingerbread men and ginger scones. The gift store is reasonably priced and has a wide variety.

The Ginger Factory - We loved every minute of our visit. The bee show and factory tour were very informative. Our grand daughter loved the boat ride to find the gingerbread men as well as the train ride. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

Popular restaurant with children activities and more. - We stopped here on our 300 km drive from North Lakes to Hervey Bay.
After visiting the Point Cartwright viewpoint, we drove 36 km northwest to this popular center of activity. Although it’s primarily designed for children, we enjoyed seeing the murals, flowers and pottery/gift shops. Departing, we noted the Nutworks across the street and stopped to learn about the Bauple nuts collected by the aboriginals, named in 1857, the macadamia nut, and even sampled 3 variations. Hawaii popularized this nut by 1946 with the ‘Royal Hawaiian’ and it is now largely produced in South Africa and Australia.
Also of interest was the nearby Tillstead pioneer settlement built in 1900 with a cafe, house and barn museum.

So overrated - The train trip around the world was the most racist, horrible trip I have ever been on.

Underwhelmed - This was absolute garbage. Factory tour that showed nothing as the factory was not operating. Saw a video which you can watch similar on the web. The whole presentation was puerile. It was junk. Three adults went at $17.50 each. A Seinfeld experience - a tour about nothing. One of the biggest scams north of Brisbane.
