09:45 am - Upon arrival at the starting point, guests will be warmly greeted by their tuk-tuk guide who will lead the tour.
The tour begins with an exploration of the bat nest area, followed by a visit to the most picturesque lakes in the region. Guests can enjoy a tuk-tuk ride around the lake.
After visiting the lakes, the tour continues to a clay pot making house where villagers craft pots. Here, guests can learn the intricate art of Sri Lankan pottery from skilled artisans and create their own clay pot on a traditional wheel as a unique souvenir.
Next, guests will visit a village house to experience the lifestyle of rural villagers. They will witness the daily activities of the villagers, including rice fields and vegetable gardens. Guests will also have the opportunity to taste a cup of Ceylon tea prepared by the village women.
With happy hearts and full stomachs, guests will bid farewell to their new friends in this rural village and return to the tour starting point.
12:00 pm - After completing the village exploration in Yala by tuk-tuk, guests will be transferred back to Hambantota harbor.
