Excellent English speaking guide plain of jars with Eric - I have been travel on bus more than 8 hours from luang prabang to phonsavan, i have book plain of jars with Eric was amazing english speaking guide me on the bus and he also help me to choose the hotel. Eric is very friendly, he know how to speak English and explain everything very clear. The next day I went to see your Plain Of Jars Tour and it was amazing. He took us in a very good restaurant with very good food! I really enjoyed this tour. It was a great experience and I recommend everyone who come here in Laos should do it because it's worth it!

Tranquil UNESCO site with good views - I went to Site 1 by negotiating a tuk tuk from town , 80,000 kip returned and stayed there 3 hours to admire the different jars and its vicinity views. Don't forget to visit the cave and its top for nice views. The time I went was the burning season, do not wear white trousers to get the burnt ashes on your clothes if you happened to walk along the hill tracks. Try to go in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat. The place is tranquil and worth visiting

Worst day! Do NOT do this tour - Guide spoke and understood very little English. Offered no value. Could not answer simple questions. Picked me up 1/2 hr late. Tour supposed to be 8 hours , was only 51/2 hours. Never took me to Spoon Village. Lunch at an authentic place, with no menu or way to find out offerings, so I tried to eat what the guide ate and it was terrible. I felt ripped off. Ask your hotel to book something local for you.
