• Beijing - The driver (driver only, no guide) will meet the guest in the hotel lobby at 5:30 am and provide a transfer to the Beijing Xi train station. This is necessary to catch the 7:00 am train to Xi’an, which arrives at 11:20 am.
• The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Upon arrival in Xi’an, the tour guide will greet the guest at the train station according to the train’s arrival time. The journey to the Terracotta Warriors takes about an hour. Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Terracotta Army lay hidden underground for 2,200 years until local farmers accidentally discovered it while digging wells. The life-sized clay warriors are unique in their clothing, hairstyle, posture, and facial expressions. Since opening to the public in 1979, it has drawn millions of visitors from around the globe each year. The tour includes visits to Pits 1, 2, and 3. After exploring the museum, lunch will be provided nearby. Finally, the guide will accompany the guest to the Xi’an train station to catch the 6:30 pm train back to Beijing, arriving at Beijing Xi station at 10:30 pm.
• Beijing - Upon returning to Beijing, the driver (driver only, no guide) will be waiting at the Beijing Xi train station arrival gate to transfer the guest back to the hotel around 11:00 pm. The tour concludes here.
