It is important to note that Qin Shihuang’s underground palace remains intact, although some burial sites adjacent to his mausoleum have been looted. It is believed that his tomb is equipped with a robust and sophisticated anti-grave robbing system, including hidden crossbows that could harm intruders, and a significant amount of mercury, which releases toxic fumes within the tomb.
