Terracotta Warriors - We decided to not do a tour here and go here by ourself, we eded up getting a tour guide there and that was the best move - Thanks to Jackie he was so informative and helpful. I was extremely luck the founder was there and managed to get a book and he signed it for me. Best day ever....... Highly recommend going there :)

Unforgettable experience - Amazing to see the scale and understand the history as well as the restoration work. We used a guide not booked in advance but at the entrance and learnt so much more than if we hadn’t. Plus the guide helped us with getting in and navigating to the chariots museum. Go early, be there before it opens ( 50 min taxi ride from city centre) and it will be much easier to view the warriors. By 10am queues from tour buses were huge and inside it was packed. The gift shop is great, plenty of staff to help and lots of choice based on your budget. The mausoleum and bronze chariots are in a separate museum, transport on electric trolley buses , there is a small cost to get to these ( 30 RMB cash only) or you can walk but that’s not ideal if it’s very hot.

Bucket lists item. - Seeing something you only read about 😍. Seems to be an ongoing excavation but that’s half the fun. Xian is incredible too.

Experience was worth it - This is the only way to get tickets for a foreigner to see the Terracotta soldiers if you do not have a Chinese phone number as you cannot book through the website or WeChat without one.
I give it 4 stars as the experience itself is a lifetime dream for me and that the tickets were booked on time and I did have them.
But do keep it mind that the price is more than 4 times of what you would pay if you could book from the site itself.
You get nothing with this booking but a ticket. No transfer, no audio guide, not even clear information of how to use the tickets. So I really do not understand how can they justify the up cost of 4 times the price. Other services that I used only priced the price to double for a booking fee unfortunately they just didn’t offer this experience otherwise I would have used them.
One more note on the provided as I had a bad experience with them for another ticket purchase. They might not prioritise purchasing your ticket and you could be in a situation where you have no ticket for the time you are there so keep this in mind. I would recommend you pay immediately when booking not the book now pay later option as they only start booking for you once you have paid.

Too bad. - Quick entry despite the amount of people....unfortunately, impossible to approach the parapet to be able to see something, an incredible confusion! Too bad 😢
