People used to have dumplings in the Chinese New Year’s eve and Dongzhi (the first day of winter). Based on the traditional dumpling, chefs made some innovations in its stuff, appearance, and making form. In this dumpling banquet, you will enjoy all kinds of dumplings in different shapes and stuff. Huaqing Palace Melody

White Ramie Dance

This kind of dance form is originated in Jin Dynasty (256 - 316 AD), got very popular in Tang Dynasty. The dancer’s long sleeves are made from white ramie, hence the name. When the dance moves around, the long sleeves would wave and adding more charm to the dance.

Songbirds Singing

It’s said that during the ceremony of conferring prince, there was a songbird flying by. Then, emperor regards it as a fortunate sign and ordered court musicians to make a melody out of this. Hearing this song, you will feel very lively and joyous.

Singing and Dancing

In this piece, young ancient ladies would sing and dance at the same time in a very bright spring. Enjoying this part would enable you to feel the great expectation of these gals to the beautiful life.

Masked Solider

This is a dance that performed specifically in Chinese new year’s eve. The dancers would wear all kinds of masks in grand animal shape, hold spear, shield and whip to eliminate sickness and ghosts.

Guizi Dance

Guizi used to be a subordinating state in northwest China in Tang Dynasty, they performed this dance to please the Emperor every year when they pay their tribute.

Raiment of Rainbows and Feathers Dance

Emperor Longji in Tang Dynasty was very good at music and melody. One day, he dreamed of many fairies dancing and singing in the moon, wearing colorful clothes like cloud. When he woke up, he immediately created this famous dance with his beloved concubine Lady Yang.

Duck Squabble and Tiger Grinding

This piece is pretty interesting. You will feel actually like some ducks are squabbling in the water, while the tiger is moving forward slowly in the forest and grinding his teeth.

Tang-era Ritual Music

This is the last piece of dance that shows the unprecedented prosperity and strength of Tang Dynasty.
