Terra Cotta Warriors - Our Xian Terra Cotta Warrior visit was amazing. Li from Sunflower Tour communicated with us via emails, whatsapp and wechat during the entire trip to make sure our every step was taken care off. Aaron fetched us from hotel to station timely for our early morning train to Xian. He even escorted us to our seats. On return trip, we were exhausted, glad that Aaron was already waiting at the exit when we arrived to bring us back to our hotel .Nancy was our tour guide in Xian. She was attentive, knowledgable and planned the visit well. We enjoyed her company very much. Would definitely recommend Sunflower Tour to all.

Perfect day tour! - We had a perfect day tour out of Beijing at the Terracotta Army in Xi'an. Sunflower Li from Sunflower Tours organized everything with care and detail for my family. Early in the morning, Sunflower picked us from our hotel and helped us going through the Rail Station until we were comfortably accommodated in the train to Xi'an. When we arrived in Xi'an, Kris was waiting us and conducted a fantastic tour to the Terracotta pits, with very knowledgeable info about China, Xi'an and of course, the Terracotta Warriors and its incredible history. It's a must-see if you're planning to visit China. Imagine the effort to build 8.000 warriors with such level of detail and differentiation! You can stare for a long time appreciating so rich details and face expressions. Also known as the Eighth wonder of the world!

Visiting the Terracotta Warriors CAN be done in one day from Beijing - Sunflower Li and her team did a fantastic job in assuring that we had the most wonderful and complete experience while visiting the Terracotta Warriors in Xian. Sunflower met us, on time, and we departed for the Railway Station where she offered an opportunity to upgrade our tickets to Business Class (The highest Class) on the Fast Train to Xian. That particular train took nearly an hour less time to get to Xian and afforded us even more time to visit the museums. Upon arriving in Xian, we were met by Li's colleagues Nancy and her driver who drove us to the site of the Terracotta Warriors located about an Hour from Xian. On the way, Nancy gave us an excellent briefing on the history of the Terracotta Warriors and the magnitude of the archaeological discoveries. First, we visited the museums with selected artifacts on display where we were able to get some great photos. Following that museum, we visited the dig sites. Again, Nancy gave a very clear, concise and informative briefing of what we were viewing. Nancy saved the best for last, the massive hanger size hall that contained the Terracotta Army in full formation including infantry, archers, and cavalry horses! The magnificent display exceeded our expectations. Nancy afforded us more than enough time to view and photograph the amazing, historical display that stood before us. Words could not adequately describe the detail, beauty, and majesty of these life-size statues. During the entire tour, Nancy took the time to explain what we saw. At no time did we feel rushed or hurried. At the end of the tour, we visited a Starbucks for refreshments and various shops for souvenirs. In one of the shops, I purchased a book and met its author. He was one of the actual farmers whom discovered the Terracotta Warriors in 1974. We were allowed to have our picture taken with him while holding his book This was truly the cherry on top of the Sunday for the day! Soon, we were returning to Xian to catch the 5:58 PM train back to Beijing. Thanking Nancy for an outstanding tour, we boarded the train. This time, we rode the scheduled first class which was still quite enjoyable but not as luxurious as Business, Class. Arriving in Beijing at 11:24, Sunflower Li was there to greet us and take us back to our hotel. It was a very long day. However, the excellent help of Sunflower Li and the wonderful tour given by Nancy made the whole day most enjoyable and worth it! I highly recommend this great tour

Perfect - Did the one day turnaround bullet train from Beijing to Xian. Prior to, there was excellent communication from Sunflower. I received emails, texts, WhatsApp throughout this entire trip. The folks here were very accommodating when I made a booking error and realized it soon before my trip and we were able to change the date. I was picked up before 0500 just in case of traffic and escorted all the way to my seat on the train. I also received written instructions how to navigate around Xian and Beijing stations as some places I could not be escorted. Though I am an experienced traveler on planes, trains and automobiles (ha), this is part of the service... I was picked up at Xian by my guide and driven to the museum. Did the tour, lunch and dropped back off at Xian in plenty of time to catch the train back to Beijing, where I found my ride back to hotel at 1130 pm. Fyi, the day was really long and I was wiped. First class is the way to go on the trains, the seats are bigger in a 2x2 single aisle. Try to ask for window seat. Will make journey much more pleasant. Oh, and my advice is do not go on any Chinese holiday. The lines will be hours long. I went after and had no lines anywhere. As for the museum, you've all likely seen the Warriors. They were neat. But....there is an original, undamaged warrior, I'm told the only one not found damaged so far, in glass. See that! Has original colors! Also, my personal highlight was the bronze chariot, horses and Charioteer. These are repaired but original, but only the one in the photo. The second chariot there is a replica with the original in Shanghai. I would highly recommend this very personalized service.

Excellent service and great tour - This tour was arranged by Sunflower who did an outstanding job helping us coordinate our trip from Beijing to Xi'an (we couldn't secure bullet train tickets so we had to fly). Our guide, Nancy, was very smart, well-educated, and motivated to give a good tour.
