Xi’an - Your personal escort will rendezvous with you at your accommodation’s reception area at 14:00pm and transport you to a local kindergarten using China’s equivalent of UBER, DIDI.\n\nEn route in the DIDI cab, your escort will impart some Mandarin phrases to you. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the kindergarten staff and children, who will show you various facilities such as the kitchen, bedrooms, classrooms, playground, and areas with toys, books, and crafts. They might also involve you in activities, despite the language barrier.\n\nFeel free to narrate tales from your own childhood in Mandarin, however basic your skills may be. The children are eager to learn English from someone who looks different from them.\n\nAdditionally, if you’re inclined, you can discuss your parenting experiences or educational philosophies with the faculty.\n\nThis excursion offers insight into the methodologies of Chinese educators, the curriculum for young learners, and the expectations of Chinese parents.\n\nPost-visit, you will return to your hotel with your guide via DIDI, after bidding farewell to the children and their teachers.
