Excellent Tour Did Not Disappoint! - My husband, son, and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were picked up by Dale promptly at 5:45 am at our VRBO in Cody and picked up another couple at a hotel in town on the way to Yellowstone. Dale has been in the area for many years and is an experienced tour guide. He took us into the park through the south entrance, with a stop for pictures at the sign first. Then on to Sylvan Lake at sunrise, with rising mist and a bald eagle flying overhead. That set the tone for our amazing day. After more scenic driving and stopping he took us to a nice gas station in the park for bathroom breaks (flushing toilets here) and coffee or hot chocolate if we wanted it. We stopped a bit later and had the continental breakfast he had brought along, which was things like Belvita breakfast cookies, breakfast pastries, yogurt, and juice. The focus of this tour was geothermal features and did not disappoint. Throughout the course of the day, we saw steam vents, boiling mudholes, brilliantly colored scalding hot pools, and of course Old Faithful. We saw Yellowstone Lake and the Yellowstone Grand Canyon with both waterfalls. The day had intermittent showers and it did rain on us during lunch but not badly enough to have to get in the van. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in the area. Binoculars are provided and the guide is good at getting you to just the right spot for amazing pictures. Not having to drive while trying to enjoy the scenery and not having to figure out where to eat, park, or go to the bathroom is well worth the price of a tour like this one.

Experience Yellowstone the best way possible! - If you want to experience Yellowstone while hitting an easy button, Experience Yellowstone Tours is definitely the way to go! Dale was so accommodating and knew exactly where to bring us and at what times. We had the most picturesque breakfast by a river with a herd of buffalo milling around right across the river. We hit every highlight (and I mean "every"!) at just the right time to catch a rainbow across the water, see the buffalo, experience the thermal pools and to witness Old Faithful! Absolutely amazing! Dale was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Yellowstone and so many other interesting facts that we threw his way. He is such a personable man who has been doing this for a very long time and we enjoyed his tour and company immensely. Thank you so much, Dale! We appreciate all you did for us to Experience Yellowstone in the best way possible...a lifetime memory!

Great Tour & Memories - My family of 4 took Experience Yellowstone Tour's all day Lower Loop Tour and we all thought it was terrific. Dale, our tour guide, was awesome - so informative and efficient. The tour van was very comfortable for us 4 as well as two other guests. The day started early - met Dale at the Walgreen's parking lot in Cody (as we were staying at an Airbnb just out of town) at 5:45 am - while early it was well worth it as it seemed our tour was so much ahead of the Yellowstone crowds. Dale pointed out some hidden gems and was able to search out so much wildlife, from a Bald Eagle to a mama Grizzly Bear and her cubs, moose, etc. It was nice to have someone else do the driving and to point out so many wonderful Yellowstone sights that we would have missed doing the drive on our own. As the tour information outlines, a light breakfast, picnic lunch (so fun), water and snacks are provided. Additionally, really liked that the tour also provided binoculars to use while on the tour. Highly recommend doing this outstanding tour!

Great family vacation with many fond memories and photos to boot - This was our 2nd tour experience with Dale and both tours were excellent. This tour was a private tour with our grown children and grandchildren. Dale was very informative and related well to everyone in the group of all ages. He has many contacts in the area which enabled us to find two groups of grizzlies and get numerous photos and videos of mama bear and cubs. This was a highlight of the trip. He found several geysers erupting which the kids really enjoyed. Another highlight was putting us at Lower Falls at the perfect time to see the rainbow effect in the mist below the falls. It was gorgeous!! Thanks Dale!! He also managed to beat the traffic and heavy parking to put us in just the right spot to see Old Faithful erupt. If you have limited time or just would like expert guidance to get the best, full experience, then Experience Yellowstone Tours with D. Robert Franz is the way to go.

Excellent - Meredith, our tour guide, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We had a great day seeing many excellent Yellowstone sites and wildlife. I would highly recommend it.

Well worth it. - He was an informative tour guide. He took us to all the prime spots and some hidden gems. Also, he showed us the prime bathroom spots, which is highly underrated. He was nice enough to pick us up at our cabin, which was convenient.

Best Way to Visit Yellowstone - Visiting Yellowstone should be on everyone's list, and taking a guided tour makes it stress free. Our guide was very knowledgeable, had a background in geology and biology, and knew the best viewing spots.

Highly recommend! - Guide was very knowledgeable about the area, kind and found tons of wildlife. Interacted with all the guests (7 total) including my preteen daughter. Would definitely do again!

Spectacular tour with incredible views and sights - We loved our guided tour to Yellowstone with Dale. He is very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed hearing all the stories and facts he knew about each place we visited. The pictures doesn't do the place justice, and it's a must-see! We saw buffalos, bears, Old Faithful and it's arruption, incredible waterfalls, and lots of beautiful thermal pools. Would recommend this to everyone staying in Cody.
