Highlights
- Teton Scenic Floats and Fly Fishing - You will be picked-up from your place of lodging anywhere in Jackson or Teton Village for your fishing trip and we will head straight to the river!
The Snake River is a relatively high volume, very braided river and the native Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout is the name of the game. Your guide will provide all equipment necessary for the day - rods, reels, flies, leader, lures, etc.
All of these half day trips are offered in a float fishing format, two anglers and guide per drift-boat. There is an option of adding a third angler for an additional charge.
Your guide will generally start the day with an on-river casting and or skills review session if needed, then it’s off and fishing. Anglers will fish as the boat drifts under direction of your guide.
The day will wrap in the early afternoon, usually back to your lodging by 1:30pm.The guides also practice catch-and-release so plan on taking some great photos and bringing back some unforgettable memories.

Experiencing fishing on the Snake River in Jackson Hole is non-negotiable, even if your schedule only allows for half a day. This journey is immensely popular with people under time pressure, families, and beginner fishermen. The half-day adventure is a perfect initiation to the art of fly fishing on the rivers of the west. Each boat accommodates two fishing enthusiasts and their guide.
- Please bring hat and sunglasses for sun and eye protection. A layered clothing system is best, sandals are best in summer season, closed toed shoes are appropriate during shoulder season.
- Valid Wyoming fishing license is required
- A maximum of 2 people per booking

Fishing Bucket List - Just returned from a 10 day trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, this trip started off fantastic with a 1/2 day (6hr) Snake River fishing trip booked thru TETON Scenic Floats and Fly Fishing just south of the GT National Park. This 13 mile trip was amazing and it far exceeded our expectations! TSF were great from start to finish and did whatever they could to make our trip a lifetime memory. Thanks to them and our captain "Taylor" for accommodating my request to use Spinning rod vs Fly, which most other companies did not want to entertain. My wife is a novice and Taylor helped her throughout without making her feel uncomfortable and she caught some beautiful fish. We caught well over 20 fish thanks to Taylor and his vast experience on the river and Tetons! Class act great job guys, thanks! This was also posted on Google.

Great day on the Snake River - We had a wonderful day on the water with our guide Kyle. It was his last day of the season so he wanted us to have a great trip and he delivered. Very good lunch provided. Wonderful scenery and a quiet day.

Fishing Snake River - We had an amazing experience fishing with Taylor as our guide. He knew where the fish were and was so helpful to give us tips on catching trout. We saw a lot of wildlife along the way and the scenery was incredible. Would 100% recommend this company!

Float Fly Fishing in a fun environment! - Excellent and lots of fun. They were professional, one time - communicated with us in advance and did everything required to make it a great experience during our fishing trip.

Great time amazing scenery!! - Our whole family of 10 went on the scenic river raft tour and half day fly fishing tours. Both activities were so much fun!! Absolutely beautiful scenery overlooking the Tetons. Jack was our guide on the raft trip. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and pointed out several bald eagles and their nests. We also saw beaver dams and lots of geese. Jack taught us lots of fun beaver facts. Joe and Mike were the fly fishing guides they were super patient with all of us who were new to fly fishing. It was so much fun and everyone was able to catch fish. We caught spotted cut throat trout. Both trips were outstanding and I highly recommend this company. They were super friendly and very good at communicating with us on directions and times to meet.

Okies Jay and Joyce enjoying the Snake River - The river was beautiful and and the scenery magnificent. I spoke with Kilmeny with the company and she was very helpful and trustworthy. If you want to use a company with integrity, this is the company to use and I will use again when we return to Jackson Hole.
A side note is my daughter and her husband used this company 2 months prior to our trip and said they had a great fishing trip and really enjoyed Joe being their guide. It was a coincidence we used the same company and happy we did.

Fantastic Experience- Even for beginner fly fishermen! - This fishing trip was the highlight of an incredible trip. Joe was a fantastic guide and teacher for one beginner and one very rusty fly fisherman! He picked us up in the morning and was super friendly the entire trip. We had a great time- and what a beautiful setting to fish in! You can't beat the Snake River and you certainly can't beat fly fishing with Joe and this incredible company. Would certainly do this again on our next trip!
