- Upper Falls - The hike begins with a view of Yellowstone’s Upper Falls, marking the start of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.
- Artist Point - A stop at Artist Point offers stunning views of the Lower Falls along the Yellowstone River. This is a must-see in Yellowstone. The 308-foot falls are framed by the vibrant canyon. Although the area can be somewhat crowded, it’s definitely worth the visit! After enjoying the falls, the group will leave the crowds behind and continue on the dirt trail.
- Ribbon Lake Trail - Following the visit to Artist Point, the group will move past the crowds and embark on the Ribbon Lake trail. The path leads through endless pines to picturesque backcountry lakes, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as weasels, hares, and deer.
- Hayden Valley - The trail offers expansive views of the Hayden Valley, where mountains seem to touch the sky. This is an excellent location to observe bison and occasionally spot a bear from a safe distance.

The guide is familiar with the trail and its junctions, where many hikers often get confused. Additionally, the guide knows the best spots for taking photos, resting, and enjoying a scenic lunch.

Meet near the pavilion at the Upper Falls View Parking Area off of the South Rim Drive. Turn left off the Grand Loop Road on the South Rim Drive, 2 miles south of Canyon Village, toward Artist Point. After crossing over the Yellowstone River on a bridge, turn left at the 'Canyon Views' sign.

Hike around Grand Canyon - We had a wonderful guide (Julia), who was informative, friendly and welcoming to every question asked. The hike is about 6 miles along the rim, however plenty of rests in between and opportunities to take pictures. Julia also provided us a mini breakfast snack and an amazing lunch overlooking a lake in the park.

Canyon Tour and Lamar Valley - Did two tours with our guide, Dallas. The Canyon and the Lamar Valley.
The value you get from being with someone who knows the area, the key features, the best view points cannot be over estimated.
Dallas has such incredible knowledge and experience of the floral, fauna and geology of the area. He was fun and I learnt a lot about the park and its inhabitants.
Also got great recommendations on what else to see for the remainder of our stay.
The other members of our group also commented on the quality of the guide and how much they had enjoyed the experience. Plus the safety and awareness of their surroundings was a bonus as it helped us see buffalo crossing the river, a grizzly and cubs at a distance, badger, prong horn and many wild flowers.
In total, we did 3 days with this company, two with Dallas and one with Julia and loved every minute of it!

AMAZING VIEWS. while getting your cardio in :D - EmilyJo was a great, down to earth guide, full of knowledge with an easy to get along with personality. This was the best hike we did. Amazing views, different sceneries. I would consider this a harder moderate hike. Even the 16 year olds got a little winded. I’m so glad we did it! Definitely pack your bug spray!

Traversing the trail was... - Traversing the trail was fairly easy. The information imparted from the guides was very enhancing to the hike and invaluable. It was a great experience. Kim and Michell did a fine job !!!

Great way to see and learn about the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone - My friend and I really enjoyed this experience. Michelle was our guide and she was fantastic. We learned a lot from her about the area and history. We are pretty seasoned hikers and were the only ones on the tour so we kept a pretty good pace and did a little bit of an add on which provided some more elevation. That said, this tour would be good for just about anyone in decent shape.

Great start to our Yellowstone Adventures! - Emily and Julia were great guides. They were fun and very knowledgeable about the different areas that we hiked, information about the various animals and plants that we came across or could potentially encounter and threw in some history and “fun facts” about Yellowstone as we went. We got to see many different landscapes in Yellowstone…the canyon, valleys, lakes, mud pots, etc. We are so glad we decided to take the tour rather than just set out on our own. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Awesome Hike - Emily and Julia made this trip amazing. They were both extremely knowledgeable and did a great job teaching us as we traveled. Our pace was perfect and we had enough time to stop and take pictures of the breathtaking views. I highly recommend this trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Must do experience - Kim and Oliver were top notch. They knew the environment, history, trails, and wildlife facts! Allowed ample breaks, snacks, for children.

Viator is a RIP OFF!! - The guides were great and we enjoyed the experience BUT the problem is with Viator. Don’t go with them. It is extremely overpriced for the experience. We absolutely will not go in anymore Viator excursions. It is an absolute rip off. They charge double what it’s worth. In fact most of there competitors are a rip off. Do the trip yourself.
