Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge - The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is an impressive structure in China, located in Wuhan, a city bisected by the Yangtze River. Before its construction, crossing the river was primarily done by ferry, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. This double-deck road-railway bridge features an upper deck for vehicles, facilitating smooth passage for cars and buses, while the lower deck is dedicated to railway transport. The bridge’s piers are robustly constructed to endure the river’s strong currents and heavy traffic loads.
