However, you’ll only make a brief stop here as the activities are ongoing and you can proceed to the next step.

A coagulating substance is introduced to the hot milk to induce souring. Historically, buffalo urine was used, but it has since been replaced with alternatives like tamarind pulp, natural microbes, or a bit of previously prepared curd. The milk is then decanted into a reddish-brown earthenware container, sealed with paper, and left to solidify for more than six hours. The clay pot is instrumental in the curdling process.
