What an experience ! - Just perfect, even if the weather was rainy. Super friendly crew, good group atmosphere and even the whales who want to show off! Swimming next to a whale and its calf is absolutely breathtaking. Special mention for the guides: safety for swimmers and for animals... top level. A very great moment.

Amazing Encounter - Wow - what an experience!!! Three days from the official end of season, rough conditions, intersecting with whales on the move .. and, still, Jesson and Teui knew exactly how to position us to make it happen! A close encounter of the kind we'll never forget! Two thumbs up .. way up!

Excellent crew and excllent experience! - Truly, this was one of the best experiences I have every had. Swimming with the whales, a mother and her baby, was incredible! Jesson the captain and owner, and Teui the guide, are amazing and their skill and knowledge is spot on to get their guests the best whale watching/swimming experience. I highly recommend Moorea Expedition and Mauruuru roa for everything!

Most exhilarating experience! - We were incredibly lucky to find not only one but four whales with it being the last days of the season. It was the most exhilarating experience I’ve ever had snorkeling with the whales! You definitely have to be a strong swimmer as the deep ocean isn’t a calm surface. I only wish I had a GoPro for video. Jo was knowledgeable and actively had us participate in learning about the whales. Book early so you don’t miss out.

Fantastic day would highly recommend! - What an amazing day! The crew was professional and fun, we took off in search of Wales and came upon a mama and baby… you were able to slide into the water and view them as they swim by gracefully. When we were looking for dolphins, we got back in the water, and came upon her again, almost as if she was playing with us! It was also fun swimming in the lagoon with the stingrays in the Blacktip sharks.

No regrets! - What an experience! Because it is the end of the season, Jesson & Teui had to put their skills to the test in the hunt. It was so much fun to watch them do this, and we were rewarded greatly. There were three other companies out yesterday, and ours was the only one to put swimmers in the water with the whales. Worth every dime. Would highly recommend.

Saw whales in November! - I had a really amazing experience! Joe, my guide was friendly and professional. The ocean waters were pretty tough for my weak stomach, but we saw 5 whales late in the season and the snorkeling experience was awesome! We weren’t able to get very close to the whales in the water, but just being near them was really incredible. While snorkeling, I saw many black fined sharks and manta rays. I would do this tour again.

If you have doubts about the swimming, dont do this excursion. - Let me first say, the excursion was good and the staff very friendly and well informed. Unfortunately Tripadvisor does not have a "good" so I give an "average". You need to be aware that the boats are small and you can only sit side ways. This makes the viewing of the wild life a bit awkward. Yes we saw whales, maybe 2, but as we decided not the swim as the current was strong, we never got really close. The other guest on board who went swimming really came close to the whales. So if you think you don't go for the swim, dont book this excursion as with the boat you dont get close. THere we also a lot of other boats and sometimes it felt like a race, of who got to the whales first. After the guests on our boat had the chance to swim, we went back to the lagoon and we were able to swim and snorkel here. This was beautiful, but again there were a lot of boats and other people. ( and yes, it was probably caused by the fact that there was a cruise boat. ) Again, the staff was really lovely. Pick up was in time, and I dont have any complaints, but it did not meet my expectations.

bad crew - the crew did not care about our safety. they were on their phones, talking to each other and ignoring the passengers. the seas were rough, swimmers could not keep up in the water, they did not stop and wait for people even when asked, "no we will not stop and wait". they gave the guide fins 3 times as large as the rest of us. they left people swimming in high seas alone because they could not swim as fast. the ocean swells were large and young fit people were struggling to keep up. The picture shows you close to whales, that distance is not allowed so it will not happen. they tell you to stay with the group in case of sharks so the group can come together for safety and get vertical to allow the sharks to pass, but they leave people alone in the water many meters away so you on your own. no live vests are used. people were out of breath trying to keep up and if you had tired out, they would have never found you again. the driver of the boat was extremely rude and should not be a tour operator. He did not seem to care that people are paying a lot of money for this experience. find another tour.
