Wonderful tour and tour guide - Barry was a fantastic tour guide! We had an amazing time spending the day with him. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Windsor Castle and the Royal family. Barry was kind, funny, and full of information. My family all loved him and it was like spending the day with a longtime friend. It was the best part of our trip and I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour for a family - Barry was a fantastic tour guide! We had so much fun spending the day with him and learned all about the history of Windsor Castle and the royal family, He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He took wonderful pictures and our day was like spending time with another family member. It was our best tour of the trip that I highly recommend!

Top notch Windsor tour - Barry was the best tour guide my family ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and warm. He was excellent at communicating and teaching my 12 and 15 yo daughters. They thought he was a ton of fun and learned a lot!!!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour as well. His car is impeccably clean. He took photos of us the whole time and sent to us via WhatsApp. Anyone who travels as a family knows what a treat it is to have photos of all of us together! He was engaging and we will 100% do another tour with him next time we are in London.

Great Experience! - This was a great tour, largely because of our guide, Barry. He is extremely knowledgeable of Windsor Castle, the town of Windsor, and all things London. Barry is very accommodating, professional, and friendly. He communicated with us beforehand to help plan our day. If there were 6 stars, I would rate 6! - Barry was everything that we had hoped for and provided more than we expected. He was on time, gracious, funny, knowledgeable and generous. The history and facts he knew were outstanding and even the 1 hr ride to Windsor Castle was filled with little historical tidbits that were entertaining and fascinating! He was very accommodating for my 80 year old mum as well as my 23 yr old nephew. We also really appreciated the photos he took!!! Truly appreciated the tour, the company and the humor that Barry provided. It was the highlight of our holiday. Should we return, we look forward to booking him again for another tour. Thank you Barry!!

Barry is the Best! - Great tour, even better guide! Barry was early to pick us up at our hotel and so we got an early start. He was a careful driver and had stories to tell us about most of the buildings we passed leaving town. With his quick wit and his sense of humor, we were entertained and the trip to Windsor passed quickly. Once at Windsor he dropped us off at the door, and met us inside. We would have walked by many of the treasures with a quick glance without his expert commentary. After we wound our way through the Castle we took a short walk through the town. From there we drove to the site of the signing of the Magna Carta and JFK Memorial. As a side note I have a heart condition and he shortened my walk by picking us up at another point saving me hundreds of steps. The tour was worth it, but we have to say that Barry was the real star. When we parted I felt as if we had made a new friend.

Best tour of the trip! - This was our favorite tour of the trip. Barry was fantastic and provided an exceptional level of service… from our hotel pickup to the actual tour to the drop off at the end, this was definitely a first class experience. Barry was impressive with his knowledge and commentary. He was professional, friendly, and so accommodating. Strongly recommended. Barry was the best!

Barry was a great tour guide - Barry was a great tour guy. He took us to all the places on the itinerary. He gave us a lot of great information on the various sites. Our plane was canceled so we had to leave at a different airport which was much farther. Barry had no issue dropping us off. I highly recommend Barry Ivens.

A tour not to be missed! - This tour was a close-up experience of Windsor Castle which is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. It was not a tour with brief recorded messages but rather a guided exploration. Our driver and guide, Barry’s Tours, is dedicated to providing a top notch experience that derives from his deep knowledge and passion. After picking us up punctually, Barry throughly explained our time together. Along our travels we stopped or viewed other interesting relevant sites or points of culture. As we toured the castle, Barry was with us explaining both the history of the room or building and the existing Royal Family’s use of the location. Pointing out various artifacts in the room, he explained their relevance and connection to the room. As luck would have it, we were delighted to look out a window to see King Charles crossing a grassy area with his body guard to go into the family weekend apartments. What a surprise! After our time with Barry we came away with not only digital picture memories of our day (taken at key points by Barry) but moreover a loving appreciation of Windsor Castle and high respect for the Royal Family and their history. We could not be happier with Barry’s Tour. His tour is money well spent. We are grateful to Prince Philip for his leadership in restoring and opening part of the Castle for people from all over the world to experience this treasure.
