Get to know Wilmington's incredible history and have fun - My friends and I loved Amanda's tour. She covered so much history (as told through the architecture we saw) in a fun thoughtful and accessible way. I would do another one of her tours in a heartbeat and hope you'll treat yourself to one.

A Must Do Tour - I highly recommend this tour. I’ve lived in the area for nearly 20 years and thought it was time I learn some history about Wilmington. This tour provided a multitude of historical facts in a fun and engaging way. I also learned about the different types of home styles in the river front area. This tour is a must during your visit to Wilmington!

Honest history lesson - Amanda blended Wilmington’s history, with coastal cities’ influence, over 300 years. Her passion for teaching architecture evolution & preservation was admirable.

The tour stated 1.5 hours... - The tour stated 1.5 hours it was closer to 2 so plan accordingly. Tour guide was very knowledgeable but delivery could have been smoother.

Architectural tour, not historical tour - I thought it was history and architectural tour of downtown Wilmington, well it was 90% architectural. The guide talked about the architectural style of the houses and very little about history. It was bad enough, that I made up an excuse and left tour earlier. Alao, there was 5 of us and the guide theoretically had a mic, but a lot of time it was hard to hear what he is saying. He sounded like a person who does tours for fun rather than professional tour guide: his story didn't flow, it was somewhat fragmented.
